Silver Sand Pack This war is becoming a problem for almost every Pack in the Kingdom, resources are running low and there are not enough females in the Pack compatible with the males. For every male there is within my Pack, there is less than a fourth of a female. Most females are connected to multiple males in my Pack and the females that are available, are becoming more unreasonable by the day. It is the only reason I made a deal with that Asshole, his Pack has more females than males at the moment and none of them are related to any of the males in my Pack. So we made a deal, I will protect his Pack and he will ask the females in his Pack who wants to become my Mate. He will even ask if someone is interested in becoming my Beta’s Mate, he asked me for two weeks to find me a Mate and that time is almost up.I don’t care if she is an Omega, I just want a Mate that can give me an heir and if my Beta gets another Pup that will make things easier in the future. My Warriors are ready to head over to our neighbors and hopefully find a female that wants them as a Mate. Like me, they don’t care about rank and I believe that is the problem for most Wolves and Lycans. Everyone wants a High-ranking Mate, but we have reached a point where there are barely any High-ranking females left and those that are born want a High-ranking Mate as well. Not really adding up in my book, because that will leave a lot of High-ranking males without a High-ranking Mate. When we reach the borders, we are met with Alpha Asshole’s Beta. He guides us to the Pack-house, where the Asshole will be waiting for us and I wonder which female has stepped forward. I can see a lot of Pack-members, but no Alpha among them and I am getting frustrated as his Beta walks inside to get his Alpha. My Wolf’s attention gets drawn to a female of to the left and she looks ready to kick my ass. “Is there a problem?” I ask, while looking at the female with ash blond hair and bright blue eyes. “Are you going to kill us, if Hailey refuses to take you as a Mate?” She asks and my Warriors all gasp, because they know I would never force a bond on anyone. She tells us what their Alpha had said and now I am in an even bigger shock, the fucking Asshole lied to his own Pack-members. “What is your name? I am Alpha Grant.” I say. It will be easier to talk to her if I know her name and after she gives it to me, I ask her to sit down. I explain the deal I made with her Alpha and I can see the shock on her face as she realizes the truth. I send Warriors after the Alpha, because I need some information from him and he will give it to me. In the hours that follow, I offer them all to become a part of my Pack and express the hope that some of them will find a suitable Mate. Gail offers to become my Mate and her best friend, Noa, offers to become my Beta’s Mate. Without the Alpha present it is easy to claim the territory and the Warriors are quick to change the patrols, keeping each part of the new borders protected. Gail tells us why she and Noa rejected their fated Mates and I am glad that neither of them is within these borders anymore. I just hope that Jocelyn and Indigo will find a safe place to stay or that they will call home if they run into trouble. It has been almost twenty four hours since I marked Gail and I know I have found myself a perfect Mate, a Mate that is worthy of calling herself a Luna. I hold Gail during her call with Jocelyn and I am happy to hear that they found refuge with a Pack that is moving to White Mountain Pack. I hope she will call back soon, because I need to have the passwords and any code that Asshole has. It is the only way I can get to his Pack funds and make sure that my Pack-members can have a normal life, not really sure what normal is at the moment though.Apparently Gail had been paying attention, because when the phone start ringing she picks up immediately. “Hello, Pumpkin.” She says with a smile. “Hi, Mom. Can I ask who are with you?” Jocelyn asks and I see a strange look on Gail’s face, before she starts telling Jocelyn who are in the office. “Aunt Noa, Indigo is still a little upset with you.” Jocelyn says and to my surprise Noa starts smiling. “She doesn’t want any Brothers, does she?” Noa asks and Jocelyn answers affirmative. “You tell my baby Sister that I will come and get her if she doesn’t grow up.” Oscar says teasingly and I can hear someone objecting on the other end of the line. “Jojo, Mommy?” We hear a small voice ask. “Yes, Baby. They are my Mommy and Indigo’s Mommy.” Jocelyn responds and I see Gail and Noa staring at the phone with their mouths wide open. “I think you need to explain a few things to your Mother, Jocelyn. She is uhm.. I am not sure what to say.” I say and Jocelyn starts giggling. In a few minutes she quickly runs through some of the things that happened along the way and I am proud of my Stepdaughter for stepping up. We can get a call out to the Warriors I send after their former Alpha and they are not that far from the location Jocelyn is at. They will take all five Wolves back with them and I will deal with them after they have returned. Jenna seems to like the phone and keeps interrupting the conversation between Mother and Daughter, but neither seems too upset about it. “Bye, Pumpkin. Take good care of yourself and of that little angel with you.” Gail says, before she disconnects the call with her Daughter and she leans back against my chest. “She is an amazing young female.” I whisper into her ear and wrap my arms around my new Mate.
