Aziza’s P.O.V. I see the pain and regret in the woman’s eyes as Anna tells us what she did to her fated Mate and I want to find out what the reason behind it had been, other than fearing him to be the same as the rest. I step in to the room and close the door behind me, knowing that Ragnar will take the hint. I sit down on the bed as I ask the woman for her name, her name is Amanda and she is forty-one years old. She rejected her Mate because she had hoped to be able to leave the Pack with her Mate, but she had shattered when she found out her Mate was a Pack-member. After pushing a bit she tells me it is Rosa’s Brother. With the phone to my ear I am pacing the hallway close to Anna’s Room and it doesn’t take long before Ynanna answers. While I explain the situation to her I see the men heading back to Anna’s room and I smile as Ragnar looks at me.“Aziza, Kijani knows the guy you are talking about. Hold on, here he is.” It is quiet for a second and then I hear a male introducing himself as Kijani. I explain everything to him and he chuckles. “Can she hear me?” He asks and I tell him No. “He didn’t accept her rejection because he hoped and still is hoping that she said it out of fear. Ynanna tells me that you will be coming this way, why don’t you bring her along? He is a guard here at the prison.” I tell him that we will take her with us and that we will be leaving first thing in the morning. Ragnar is looking at me funny as I walk towards him and I have to stifle a smile as I realize that he is jealous. “Kijani suggested we bring Amanda as well, her Mate is a guard at the prison.” He pulls me close and kisses the top of my head, he tells me that we will go shopping for the women as they have very little to wear. “I hope you don’t mind, but I will pay for Amanda’s clothes.” It wasn’t a question, but I know if I had objected he would have given me my way. Smiling up at him I nod my head and I put my arms around his waist.“Amanda, I know there is nothing for you here and you are the only Family Anna has left, so why don’t you come with us as well. If there is anything you want to take with you then we can put it in one of the SUV’s for you.” I tell her. “There are only two things I want to take out of here with me and one of them is standing right next to me.” She says as she smiles at Anna. “The other thing I have with me, always. The one thing he left behind when he left the Pack.” She says with tears in her eyes. Ragnar’s P.O.V. I thought this shopping trip would last hours, but the women are not greedy and only get what they really need. Amanda tries to fight me on paying for her purchases, but Aziza is there to help me out. Aziza and Amanda talk about what she wants for her future and like Rosa and Anna she wants to become a nurse. Knowing that Aziza already had contact with Atlas regarding Anna and Rosa, I dial his number as we walk through the mall back to the SUV’s.“Ragnar, what can I do for you?” He asks as soon as he answers the call, I chuckle before I tell him my reason for calling. He tells me he is on it and when I explain everything about Amanda to Atlas, he tells me that he will take care of everything. I tell Aziza through the mind-link that I called Atlas and that he would take care of everything. She smiles at me over her shoulder as we get near the SUV’s, I quickly walk passed the women and open the door for them. As soon as we get back to the Pack-house my attention gets drawn to a male and female standing on the front porch, but I don’t get the chance to say anything as Aziza jumps from the car and jumps into the arms of the male. Donny wants to roar at the male for touching Aziza until he hears her say “What are you doing here, Dad?” I open the door for Amanda and tell her to get some clothes for tomorrow, so she has something nice to wear. I wait patiently as Amanda gets a bag with a new set of clothes and then I make my way over to Aziza and her Family. “Ragnar, This is my Dad, Elon, Delta of the Black Mountain Pack and his Mate, Tullia.” She introduces us and I shake her Father’s hand as he gives me a stern look. Kaiden jumps on to the porch and asks “Where is the little Demon?” Tullia laughs at his words and Elon tells him that Brennon is sleeping in one of the guestrooms. I introduce everyone and Rosa and Anna ask if they will be staying for dinner, which Elon confirms. Aziza tells them that we will be leaving in the morning and her Father tells her not to worry, they are on their way to Tullia’s Brother. During dinner I can feel Elon’s eyes on me and if I hadn’t been so confident in what Aziza and I have, I would worry. Aziza and Tullia are talking about the visit to Tullia’s Brother and the smile on her face gets bigger when she hears that he found his Mate during the last Full Moon. “What kind of man is he?” Aziza asks and Tullia’s mouth opens and closes a few times. “How did you know?” Tullia asks her and we all start laughing. “Sweetheart, you should know by now that nothing gets past our Daughter.” Elon responds and I see tears form in her eyes. Elon’s P.O.V. When Aziza introduced me to Ragnar I wanted to punch his lights out, because Tullia had told me about their phone-call and I really believe the guy is an idiot. As we pass the time until dinner is ready I watch him and I see how he treats my Daughter, he teases her as they talk about the people in this Pack. He helps her as she tries to grab something out of the bookcase in the living-room. His hand is on her lower back as they walk over to a couch, yet he doesn’t treat her as if she is made out of porcelain. I keep watching them during dinner and I know that they will end up together no matter what. After dinner I get up and tell Ragnar I want to talk to him, he follows me out the backdoor after he kisses Aziza on the top of her head. We walk for a while and I look around the territory in silence, before I ask where the members are. “As you might know, we are investigating the former Alpha of this Pack and of all the males in this Pack only seven adult males and every underaged male are not guilty of a crime. The rest of them have been taken to the Council for their trials and their chosen Mates will be free once they are dead.” Ragnar answers me and I even though I know what Aziza does for a living, I am shocked to learn that she gets exposed to this. “She knows what she can and can’t handle and she is not afraid to leave that to another.” He says and I look at him questioningly. Ragnar explains a part of the investigation and Aziza’s choice to hand it to him. The way he talks about her tells me that he cares deeply for her and I ask him the question that has been at the front of my mind all evening “What if she is not your fated Mate?” “I have told Aziza that I want her, no matter what. I tried to push her away by acting like a jerk, but I am glad that I didn’t succeed in that. She is smart, funny and a spitfire and I know that she would be miserable without her career. I have told her that I will stay at home for our Pups when the time comes. I don’t think I could even ask her to consider staying home, not with a mind like hers.” As he speaks I can tell that he is sincere with his attentions towards my Daughter. “Thank you for being honest with me. I want to see my Daughter happy and I have a feeling that she has found that with you.” I tell him.
