Alpha Raelyn: The Alpha They Never Saw Coming

Chapter 39 Making Taylor Pay

The female werewolf reporter’s face turned pale. “I…” I smiled and turned my gaze away. “I hope next time you question someone, you’ll have proper evidence first.” The reporters around me snapped into a frenzy, shutters clicking non-stop. The revelation that the famed jewelry designer Angie was actually the Eclipse Pack’s future Luna made for a way bigger headline than some plagiarism scandal. I seized the moment to pivot the topic. “This jewelry line is for couples. The men wear First Glance, symbolizing love at first sight. The women wear First Love, representing affection that grows over time. It’s a very meaningful set.” The press conference ended perfectly. That same night, the official site of Eclipse Corporation announced another complete sell-out. Jewelry lovers online began wailing across Twitter. “Help! Why did I hesitate?! I actually doubted the design?! This was hand-designed by Angie herself and I didn’t buy it?!” “Same here! I want one! Please Eclipse Corporation, release it officially! My wife said if she doesn’t get one, she’s cutting our fated bond!” … Aiden’s POV Reading all the news online, even I—usually calm and reserved—was shocked for quite a while. I honestly hadn’t expected Raelyn to be the one behind the name Angie. The top designer in the jewelry world. All the extraordinary things she’d done before—I could accept those. Then she turned out to be Jennifer the singer… and now she was also Angie? This Omega was seriously impossible to figure out. After the press conference, Raelyn and I handled a few more things before finally returning to the Eclipse Pack’s villa. It was already 1 a.m.Neither of us had eaten dinner due to work. The moment we walked through the front door, Raelyn headed straight for the kitchen. “Aiden, I’m making something to eat. Want some?” she said, digging through the fridge without turning around. “Sure,” I replied. Not long after, Raelyn brought out two plates of spaghetti, each topped with a fried egg. I looked at the plain-looking pasta, picked up a strand, and took a bite. The taste was surprisingly good. “I didn’t think you could cook.” Raelyn tilted her chin proudly. “Of course. There’s a lot you don’t know about me.” I stared at her beautiful, flawless face and asked in a low voice, “Raelyn, just how many identities do you have?” Raelyn blinked, then burst out laughing. “Aiden, be honest—do you have a thing for me? You’ve been paying a lot of attention to me lately.” I froze for a moment. Am I being that obvious? I coughed, took another bite of pasta, and said, “I’m just… curious.” I really was curious. But it wasn’t just curiosity—I wanted to know more. Raelyn had a kind of pull, a magnetism that made me want to get closer to her without even realizing it. She didn’t tease me further. Maybe she really was hungry. We both sat there quietly, eating our spaghetti. Then a light switched on above the staircase. “Aiden? Raelyn? Why aren’t you two asleep yet?” At the top of the stairs stood Andrix in loungewear, a teasing smile playing on his lips. “It’s the middle of the night. A man and a woman alone together… hard not to misinterpret that, huh?” I glanced at Raelyn, then ignored Andrix’s jab and said flatly, “I’m going to bed. You should rest too.” Raelyn’s POV Aiden left, and the living room was just me and Andrix. He walked over and looked at me. “You like my brother, don’t you?” I smiled without confirming or denying it. “Andrix, didn’t know you were such a gossip.” “Raelyn, my mom specifically named Taylor to be my brother’s future mate. If you’re into him, it won’t be that easy.” “I’ve never failed at anything I set my mind to.” Andrix laughed. “Well then, that’s good to know.” I turned to look at the fourth son of the Eclipse Pack. And just what exactly is it that you think you know? He really had been acting strange lately—different from the first impression he gave me. I didn’t bother with him anymore and waved him off as I headed back to my room. There, I pulled out my phone and called Jackson. “Did you find out who was behind it this time?” “I checked. All those smear posts? The IP addresses came from the Midnight Pack villa. Pretty sure it was Taylor pulling strings.” Jackson added, “And about last time—security footage at Death Canyon caught a suspicious person. Their last phone call was to Taylor.” “Taylor, huh… Jackson, gather everything and drop it all online tomorrow,” I said coldly. “You got it, Raelyn.” Jackson hung up.
