When Zaden heard this, he didn't look happy at all. His frown deepened. He didn't want things to end that way with Athena, which was why he had been making excuses for the past two days. Seeing that Zaden looked upset, Athena tried to act normal. She chuckled softly, "Alright, don't overthink it. Let's finish shopping and go back. It's getting late, and Teri must be starving." "Lewis, do you really think divorcing me will make Athena forgive you? You think she'll ever take you back after what you've done? You had a child with me! That's a wound she'll never forget!" "Even if you divorce me, you can't be with her again! She has Zaden now. Why would she even look at you?" Lewis's expression went gloomy and he immediately hung up the phone. As the call ended, the noise stopped and the irritation in his heart eased a bit. Lewis tilted his head back and drank the rest of the wine in his glass. The strong alcohol went down his throat and his nerves seemed to relax. Nina's words still echoed faintly in his mind. Athena really might not get back with him, but there was still a chance. Even if he had to use every trick in the book, he would win Athena back. They hadn't completely broken off their relationship yet. Lewis took a deep breath, pushing down his emotions. He dialed his assistant's number. The call was quickly answered. "Mr. Belmont, what are your orders?"
