Thomas’ P.O.V. I have been unable to sleep ever since I received Drake’s message, Hunter is coming home before breakfast tomorrow and Drake made it clear I was to keep it a secret. Benjamin knows that something is up and he has been staring at me for half an hour now. “Okay, Thomas. Spill it. What the hell is going on?” He asks and I am glad we are in his Quarters, well actually our Quarters as I technically moved in with him. “I can keep a secret. I knew about her Mates for a year before I told her and you know why I told her.” He says. I know he won’t be telling anyone, but I also hate going against my Brother’s wishes. Alex, my Lycan, tells me it will be all right to tell Benjamin, after all Drake wouldn’t want Benjamin to tip off anyone else about my behavior. “Hunter will be back before breakfast tomorrow. Drake didn’t tell me why, but it had something to do with her studies.” I look at Benjamin as I tell him what is on my mind. “Lets just hope it has nothing to do with her Mates.” He whispers and I can’t believe that that didn’t cross my mind. “I thought she might have run into some trouble with her studies and wasn’t sure if she should continue. That she might need some advice from her parents or us.” I say to Benjamin and he agrees that that could be an option too. Having shared this with Benjamin makes me feel a bit more at ease and I know I will be able to get some sleep now. Benjamin and I turn in for the night and I can’t wait to see my Granddaughter in the morning, I hope she got to meet some of her family members. Knowing Max he has hovered around her once he found out who she was to him and I can’t wait to ask her what she thinks of her Aunts and Uncles. I doubt she met Sasha, but maybe she will be able to travel to her Pack and spend some time with her. With those thoughts I drift off to sleep with a smile on my face. Victor’s P.O.V.I still can’t believe Alpha Drake bought her this SUV, it is luxurious and spacious and I have a feeling that the Queen is going to have a fit. I am just glad that Beta Brennon was the one that taught her how to drive a car and she is a damn good one at that. Matt and Max are talking about the Palace, the place Matt grew up and Max is surprised when he hears that Matt is only nineteen. I chuckle as Max’s eyes switch from Matt to me and back again, most people find it strange that I have such a young Mate. I love Matt more than anything in this world, he knows what he wants and he is not afraid to say so. Shortly after we marked and mated he told me that he was not finished with his training yet and he had no intention of giving that up. I told him I wasn’t going to hold him back and that I would support him in everything he wanted to do. It didn’t take me long to find out that his parents never treated him differently for loving males instead of females, they are the total opposite of my own parents. My Father threw me out of the house the moment he found out and my Mother didn’t do anything against it. Vincent had moved out just a few months before that and he opened up his home to me. In the first few years I tried to talk to my parents about it, but eventually I gave up. Matt’s parents love me as their own, even thou I am older than they are. Matt and I ran into my parents a few weeks ago and when they saw us holding hands they had looked at us with disgust on their face, before they turned their backs on us. Two days later I had found a hysterically laughing Matt on the front porch with his parents and it took a while before he was able to tell me what had him cracking up. Turns out that a friend of his Father had seen my parents' reaction to us. The man had seen Matt grow up and knew everything about Matt, which was unfortunate for my Father who was after a contract with the man. He had told my Father that he couldn’t do business with small minded people and he had refused my Father a contract he needed badly. I am not one to laugh at other peoples misfortune but in this case I had joined Matt in his laughter. I hear Max and Hunter laugh and I have a feeling Matt just told them about my Father and his contract. “Princess, with your car we can not get back in the way we left. The moment we enter Palace grounds they will know that you have returned.” I say and she tells me that that is fine. “That will at least give them the time to get dressed and get over the first shock of my return.” She giggles. The second we enter the Palace grounds howls can be heard all around us and a smile appears on Hunter’s face as she hears it and Max just sits there in awe at the sound of the howls. It is a sound that hasn’t been heard since King Edward was alive. Daniel’s P.O.V. A sound I haven’t hear in ages wakes me and for a moment I am puzzled as to why I am hearing this type of howling from my Guards and Warriors. “Daniel, why are they howling?” a half awake Aspen asks me and I look at her with a smile on my face. “Those, my Queen, are our Guards and Warriors letting us know that our Daughter is back on Palace grounds.” Before I can say anything else the door bursts open and a very excited Justin jumps on the bed, mumbling over and over again “She is home” We all get dressed quickly as I know that it won’t take her to long to get to the Palace and I see smiles on the faces of everyone we see along the way down to the double doors of the Palace. Benjamin and Thomas follow us in a calmer manner and I get this feeling that they knew she was coming home. We watch as an unknown SUV pulls up in front of us and I see Victor in the passenger seat with Matt behind him in the backseat. That leaves Hunter as the driver and I wonder where they got the SUV from, just as I notice an unknown male getting out the back on the other side of the car. I can feel the tension growing in my Sons until I hear him yell “Goodmorning, Uncle Thomas. Thought I accompany my Cousin home and see if I can annoy the hell out of you in the meantime.” Thomas walks down the steps to welcome his Nephew and I feel my Sons deflate. Thomas introduces Max to us and he pulls Aspen in for a hug, “Hello, Cousin. I am happy to finally meet you after hearing so much about you from Hunter.” He looks at me and after he releases his hold on Aspen he bows his head and says “Your Majesty, my name is Max and I have promised Nanna and Uncle Drake that I will accompany Hunter on her travels.I also promised Nanna that I will make sure that no one stops her when she wants to continue her travels and I have every intention of keeping that promise.” I see him glaring at my Sons and I realize that Hunter told them what had happened. “Max, welcome to the Palace. I will make sure there is a room ready for your stay here and I know my Mate would like to get to know another family member.” I say as I shake his hand. Hunter slowly gets out of the car and she jumps into Dad’s arms as soon as he is in reach, “Hello, Papa. Did you miss me or did Pops keep you occupied?” She asks and Dad swirls her around while holding on to her tightly. “Thomas and I have both missed you, but talking about you and your Mother helped pass the time.” Dad responds. “Hello, Pops. I missed you too.” She nuzzles his neck as he takes her out of Dad’s arms. Joshua is running circles in my head, he is happy that she is home and we both hope that she won’t leave again without a word. “Hunter, why don’t you tell me where the SUV needs to be returned to? I will see to it that it gets taken care of.” I say and she looks at me as she shakes her head. “No need for that, Dad. It is mine.” She says and Aspen’s head snaps towards her. “What do you mean it is yours?” Aspen and the boys ask at the same time and even though I know I shouldn’t I can’t help myself from laughing at it. I could hear surprise in Aspen’s voice, but in my Sons' voices I heard jealousy.
