Harvest Moon: Bound to My Four Stepbrothers
Keir I never thought I would become an Alpha again, but here we are, a Pack of three on our way to a territory that got abandoned almost a century ago, and by the time we get there, my Pack will have grown to at least a dozen Wolves and Lycans. Lakota links me to inform me of trouble, and Echo is about to rip some idiot Alpha a new asshole when we hear him rejecting his fated Mate. Luckily, Lakota can convince her to come with us, and now I have a Pack of six; Lynn falls asleep against Bolt while Josh keeps an eye on his baby Sister. Just as we are about to leave, the first Warriors show up, and the Omega that helped me get our family files is with them; she is the fated Mate of one of the Warriors. With Bolt carrying Lynn and Josh and Echo carrying Alice, we make good progress in our journey. As I lay down to get some sleep, I let my new Pack wander through my mind; I now have a Gamma female, thirteen Warriors, four Omegas, two Pups, and a female I have to assess when we finally settle down. Our Pack is slowly growing, and I feel good about being an Alpha again, but I will hand it over to Lakota as fast as I can.Alice wakes me in the morning with a cup of coffee, and smiling, I take it from her. "Thank you, Alice. I really need this to get started." I say as I look around to see everyone waking up. "Dad, Quinn is able to walk herself. Some food and a good night's rest did it for her and her Lycan." Lakota says as she sits down next to me. Once we are ready to leave again, I step in front of my Pack. "In a few hours, we will reach Silver River Pack; Alpha Paul and I had an alliance fifteen years ago, and I asked Council-member Armas when I sold our territory to White Crescent Pack to tell him that Lakota and I survived. He knows we went into hiding, and he knows why I did it. He told Armas that our alliance would stay valid for as long as he was still breathing, and that if I ever needed his help, I would get it. His Pack will be our first stop along the way." I say, and I know we will all be looking forward to a nice shower. Lance has shifted into Bolt again to carry the Pups, and Alice walks beside him as she talks to her siblings; one more thing I need to arrange when we get to Silver River Pack: clothing for Alice and her siblings. Her former Alpha kicked her out with just the clothes on their backs. We reach Silver River Pack without any trouble, and I smile when I see his Gamma near the border. "Does Paul know you wandered this far from the Pack-house?" I call out, and I get a rather strange look when our eyes meet. "Fuck, I didn't believe him when he said you survived. I always assumed he was pulling my chain." Gamma Jeff answers. Jeff allows us entry to the territory, and we follow him towards the Pack-house as he tells me he won't link Paul to inform him. "Let's see how he will respond to seeing a ghost." Jeff chuckles, and while we walk towards the Pack-house, he tells me that all three of them found their fated Mates, that they all have ten-year-old Sons. He asks me about my little Pack, and I tell him I will explain it once we are in the Alpha's office; he seems to understand there is something I don't want others to overhear. Through the mind-link, I tell Lance and Quinn that I want them to keep an eye on the others while Lakota and I are talking to Alpha Paul. Jeff asks two Omegas to show the others to a room and to make sure they have everything they need; Quinn leads the way while Lance walks behind everyone. "Alpha, we have a few visitors." Jeff says as he is standing in the doorway of Paul's office, and I hear a few mumbles from whoever is in there. "Which fucking Alpha decided to come visit without permission?" I hear Paul growl, and I see a huge smile on Lakota's face just before she pushes Jeff out of the way. "That would be my Father, Alpha Dipshit." She answers, and I hear a gasp before I hear a chair move. "You look just like your Mother, Lakota. And I actually know a certain Alpha that would call me that, just to spite me." He says before he walks out of his office holding my Daughter in his arms. "Keir, it is good to see with my own eyes you survived. I was sorry to hear Myra didn't make it." He says as he gives me a hug. After all the introductions, Paul asks me what brings us to his pack, and Lakota tells him about the rejection, about escaping while they were away visiting another Pack, and about the small Pack we now have. "Lakota, do you mind telling me what it is you left out?" Paul asks, and Lakota stares at her hands for a moment. "Jace wanted to keep me around to mate and produce a strong heir for the Pack." She whispers, and the windows rattle as the males roar at her words; Luna Victoria gets up to calm down her Mate before he shifts in his office."Keir, Paul has told me a lot about you and Myra. If there is anything you need from us, I want you to let me know; our alliance is still valid as Paul already mentioned to Council-member Armas. I know you want to settle down somewhere, but let everyone rest up before you head back out there, and make sure that everyone is healthy. Our Doctor will check on anyone that might need it, and I will ask him to get you the basics you need for the journey." Luna Victoria says, and I thank her for her kindness. "To tell you the truth, I am hoping you can do me a favor." She says before she looks at Paul. He nods his approval. "About six months ago, we were on our way home when we found a female at the side of the road; she was severely beaten, and for a while, we feared she wouldn't pull through. By some miracle she did, and she has been hiding in a cottage in the back of our territory, and it took a long time before she was willing to confide in me. She was forced into a Mate-bond at the age of eighteen, and for years, her Mate used her as a punching bag. Three years into the Mate-bond, he found himself a more suited female, and both of them started to treat her even worse; after three more years of abuse in any form you can think of, she ran.He caught up with her and beat her nearly to death before he rejected her, leaving her by the side of the road to die. She still fears he will come looking for her one day, especially when he finally finds her medical file that states she was pregnant when she left." I stop Victoria from saying anything else. "If she wants to come with us, she is more than welcome, and so is her Pup." I say, and I see relief wash over her face. "Thank you. I will visit her today and inform her that there is a way to hide from her former Mate." Victoria says, and I know that this will mean another Pup will join us on our journey to a new beginning. Lakota asks Victoria if she can accompany her to meet the female, so that she can explain certain things to her and her Pup. Victoria seems surprised by Lakota's initiative, but agrees to take her along for the meeting, and after that, we both go upstairs to take a much needed shower. Lakota explains to the others about the female she will be visiting later today. "Lakota, make sure she knows we will protect her if her former Mate ever shows up." Quinn says, and I smile as I head for the shower; she will make a great Gamma one day. When I get out of the shower, Lakota and Lance are going over everything we might need for everyone, and Quinn is writing down what they agree on; the rest gets written down by Alice. Once they are done, most of the items from Alice's list are moved to Quinn's list, and even the Pups got a say in things they wanted or needed. Alice tried to object to almost everything, but Lakota and Lance told her to zip it, which made the Pups giggle. Most of the Warriors had their savings in cash, just like Lance, and they offered it to the Pack as a start-up; Lance had asked Quinn to write down the amount each Warrior had to make sure we could pay them back in the near future. "Alpha, after you took your files, I went back to grab the files of everyone that wanted to leave with us. I thought you might like to have those to keep it updated after we settle down." Sela, my Omega friend, says, and I smile at her as I take the files from her outstretched hand. Lance's file is the first one I read through as I have a few suspicions about his background; I smile as I see that my hunch was correct, and I know that my Daughter will have her leadership almost complete by the time we will settle down. All we need to do is see if one of the Warriors is good enough to become a Delta. We enjoy lunch with Paul's Pack, and his Pup comes up to me during eating our food. "Alpha Keir, Dad explained a few things to me and promised to explain everything when I am old enough. I just want you to know that the alliance between Silver River Pack and Crystal Blood Pack will remain intact after I take over." He says, and everyone can hear that he is serious.
