Umayza I let everything in the room pass me by and I concentrate on Jasper and Yade as they are arguing in my head, like every time it is about the Pups. Jasper wants to know if they are all boy or all girls or a mix, but Yade isn’t telling him anything and I wonder if she knows or just wants to keep it a secret for me and my Mates. Orion places his hand on my knee to get my attention and like everyone else I get up as the Royal family and the Council-members enter the Courthouse. Orion and I have never been to the Courthouse and we both look in awe as everyone takes their seats. Representative Fabian is the first to walk to his table as it is protocol and after that the accused walk in with their Representatives. Each of them has a female as their Representative and that surprises me because of the charges against these males. Ayden and Representative Daeva get placed at a separate table and Council-member Nakoa explains that it has to do with doubts on his involvement. Roger and Representative Medea are seated on the left side of the table from me and Talon and Representative Cozbi on the right, none of them look up as Council-member Nakoa addresses the public. Fabian holds his opening statement, he is careful not to reveal what the trial in exactly about and all the accused know is that they are charged with murder. Cozbi is the next to hold her opening statement and she points out that during all of Talon’s trials he has confessed to the charges, but that he didn’t commit any other murder than the one on his chosen Mate. Medea has a similar opening statement in regard to Roger and both males have a smug look on their faces, thinking there is nothing that can link them to any other murder than the ones they have already been found guilty of. Fabian gets up to start the trial, “I call to the stand Little Ghost.” He says and I walk over to the seat I have to take. Everyone stares at my baby bump as I sit down and Fabian takes the time to congratulate me, he asks me how far along I am as everyone can see that I am with Pup. “About four weeks, but it shows already as I am expecting a triplet.” I answer and I hear gasps all around me.He asks me to introduce myself to all that are present, “My name is Umayza and for the past two and a half years I have been working for the Council and the King. I get information no one else can get, they call me Little Ghost because I can walk around without anyone noticing me.” I say. He asks me to explain how I am able to get information that no one else can get, “I have the gift of perception, but unlike my family I have never used it to make money with it and I never will. My Mother was raised by her Aunt, Calliope.” I say and murmurs are heard throughout the Courthouse. “Not to insult you, Umayza, but the gift can only relive a memory that is two or three years old.” Fabian says and I decide to show everyone that I am unique, “Council-member Nakoa was at a cluster of boulders in the middle of White Mountain Pack with the Sons of Alpha Grant. They decided to divide the Pack into two Packs and sold the clearing between their Packs to the Council to create a natural barrier. Council-member Nakoa, would you be so kind to confirm that this took place over two hundred years ago?” I ask and he confirms what I had said. “White Mountain Pack was a Royal Pack because Alpha Grant’s Mother was a Royal, his Sons were unaware of this piece of information and they never found out as all the journals and family files were send to the Council. The youngest Brother was killed and his Beta took over the Pack, but almost a week ago both Packs became one again. Alpha Theseus and Alpha Amarah are mated and they have combined their Packs after buying the clearing from the Council, renaming the Pack White Mountain Pack.” I say, even more murmurs are heard and it takes Council-member Nakoa a few minutes to calm the public down. “Umayza, will you explain why you are here today to testify?” Fabian asks and I turn towards Roger and Talon before I start to speak, “I am here to tell everyone what happened five years ago at White Horn Pack.” I see the shock on their faces and Evander has to push Ayden back in his seat. I tell them what I saw in my memories, but I make sure not to mention any names and I see both males slowly relax. I tell them about how every Pack-member got raped over and over again, how they had begged for their lives and that of their Pups and that everything was in vain.“As I said I have the gift of perception and that means that I relive the memory through the eyes of a host, I see, hear and feel what my host does. My first host was a young Omega male and he got raped and murdered, but never closed his eyes in the hope to safe his Luna. They threatened to kill her if anyone would close their eyes and if she closed her eyes the Wolf holding her would cut out her unborn Pups. In the end it didn’t matter because as the two leaders raped the Luna one of them strangled her and tossed her lifeless body to the side. The Alpha was my host as his Mate got raped and my last host was a young female, she got the worst of everything as she got raped over and over again by more than one at a time. She saw her Mother die, she saw her Father die and she felt every bond snap as the Pack-members died.” I say and I turn to face Ayden. “Ayden, I saw how you killed the Wolves that had stayed behind. I heard your Wolf roar as you found your Mate and I know what it costed you when your Wolf granted his Mate her last wish. I know you are beyond saving, but know that she loved you with all of her heart and that her attackers will die soon. Roger and Talon..” I don’t say anything else as he jumps up, but my Mates place him back in his seat. “Ayden, please listen to what I have to say. Roger and Talon took a lot of Roger’s Warriors with them and the only reason they succeeded is because they threatened the Luna, who was highly pregnant with twins. They attacked White Horn Pack because Talon blamed your Mate for the change in you, he told her he was going to make sure you would be like him and that when you found her you would walk away without looking back. They left her alive, hoping you would make her death even more painful and you disappointed in that regard. The Alpha gave up living the moment he knew that all wasn’t completely lost and I think your Mate was aware of it too. After Roger and Talon were done with the Luna and Talon had squeezed the life out of her he tossed her aside. She landed near a female Pack-member that was hiding her Son and Daughter from the attack. She did the only thing she cloud to save the unborn Pups, she cut open her Luna’s body and pulled both of them out with her hands. She tied them to the back of her Son and ordered both her Pups to run with the Alphas, to protect them as they were the only Pack-members they had left.Those four Pups made it to safety and they have been living in hiding ever since, until I relived the memories of that day no one knew that the Alphas of White Horn Pack had survived and I know that your Mate died with peace in her heart. You lost the most important thing in your live and I am very sorry for that, but she died knowing her Mate loved her enough to let her go.” I say. The only sound heard in the Courthouse are the sobs of Ayden and the Royal family, Fabian is looking at the floor as I see his lips move and I know he is sending a prayer towards the Goddess. After a few minutes he tells the Council he has no more questions. Cozbi and Medea inform the Council they have no questions for me, but Daeva gets up to ask the Council for permission to ask me a few questions. “Umayza, how can you be so sure those twins survived or that they are still alive?” She asks and I let my eyes glide towards Armas to ask for permission. “The gift of perception can come with the gift of the single line, a gift that can follow a host away from where the memory starts. I knew I was in a new host but I couldn’t see anything, I heard a male talking to the young Pups and I saw his eyes when he removed the hood from the newborn Alpha’s face. He saved them from a Rogue that attacked them and he took them to the Council as they refused to say where they were from. I recently met him and I know that the four Pups never revealed where they were from, I doubt the young Pup would ever endanger his Alphas.” I explain to her. As she walks back to her seat Ayden slowly gets up, Evander and Conri step closer to him but don’t push him back into his seat and I see a very broken Wolf when he looks at me. “Thank you for telling their story, I know my Father and Roger will die and I am grateful knowing they didn’t kill my Nephews. Council, there is a bank account in my name and I would appreciate it if you made sure my Nephews get it. I don’t know if they have names or not, but I know what their parents wanted to name them. The firstborn would be named Darrion and the second born would be named Deimos and their parents wanted them to rule the Pack together.” He says before he sits down again. Armas looks up at one of the boardwalks and I hear someone getting up, “Ayden.” I hear the voice of Malik say. “I am the one that found them that night and the young female Pup that was with them told me their names, she apparently knew about their parents plans.Darrion and Deimos are doing well and are behaving like real Alpha Pups, they know they can finally tell everyone who they are. I will tell them who you were to their Sister and what you and your Wolf did for her.” Malik says and I hear Ayden thank him for the information. The Council decides to make Ayden’s suffering end by rendering a death verdict, with his Wolf losing his mind because of his Mate and knowing what he saw it was enough for him. Ayden thanks them for allowing him to join his Mate sooner than later. Roger and Talon get the heaviest verdict they can get, the breaking of their bones until the day their bodies give up and that might seem horrible but in my book it is still a light sentence.
