Jax’s P.O.V. As soon as I wake up I link Pops and ask if he has time for me, because I need him to be there when I talk to my Brothers. Once he replies I ask him to come to Jayce’s office and after closing the link I take a shower. While getting dressed I link my Brothers and ask them to meet me and Pops in Jayce’s office. I ask Martha to bring coffee and breakfast to the office, I know I am going to need it. Jason is the first to walk in to the office and the others walk in shortly after him. I see the look on their faces when they see Pops walking in, but I just shrug my shoulders as I sip my coffee. Once everyone has their coffee I look at my brothers and take a deep breath. I explain to Pops the dream Jayce had and I see him rise an eyebrow, he looks from me to Jayce and back again. “Pops, is it possible for a female to have multiple Mates that are not a triplet or Quadruplet?” I see four heads snapping in my direction and I raise my hands in surrender. I tell them I have had a reoccurring dream as well and my mark was also not where it was supposed to be. “In the last dream I scrapped my canines over her scapula, causing her to sound as when I did it to my own mark. My mark is on her left collarbone, which makes no sense at all.” I look at Pops and he stares at me with confusion in his eyes. Jason has his eyes closed and I can’t see what is going on his head. Then we all hear him softly say, “My mark is on her right scapula.” Pops looks at Justin and I can see he is debating with Slade. It takes a few minutes before he mutters “Fuck” as his eyes lock with Pops, “My mark is on her left scapula. I also know why she has multiple Mates, it was something Elder Marcus told us about during one of his classes. A female Royal that was considered to strong had two Brothers as her Mates, but they were not twins.” I remember that class and know I understand why the Goddess chose to give her multiple Mates, but why the hell did she choose us. Why did she let us find her while she was still underage? I think I am even more confused then I was yesterday when I connected the dots. “Boys, I think it is time you talk to one another about your Mate. I also believe it is time you tell her, unless you want to lose her for good.” Pops gets out of his seat and leaves the room without another word. “I have known for two years now that Hunter is my Mate.” I say as soon as the door is closed. “Fuck, we are all screwed.” Jason mutters. One by one we tell the others about the day we met Hunter. We talk about our dreams and the more we talk the easier it becomes for us, we know why the Goddess chose four Mates for Hunter. The only thing we are not sure of is why she chose us and no matter how long we talk about it, we can’t come up with the answer. It is long past lunchtime when Aspen walks in and Jason says, “You better sit down, Mom.” He catches us all of guard and I see tears forming in her eyes. I get up and put my arm around her shoulder as I say, “He is right, you want to sit down for this, Mom.” I guide her to the couch and make way for Dad as he walks over to her asking what happened. “Nothing much. Just Jason and Jax calling me Mom.” She says and Dad looks at all of us. Jayce decides he will tell them what we figured out and I sit back down in my chair. “Mom, Dad. There is something we need to tell you, but I am not sure how to explain it. Dad, did you tell Mom about my dream?” He asks and they both nod their heads. “All four of us have had those dreams, we apparently share a Mate. The part that is hard to explain is the why and the who, so I will start with the who. We have known for two years who she is, but we only found out this morning that we share her. Our Mate is Hunter.” He keeps quiet after dropping that bomb. What happens next is something none of us had expected, Mom bursts out in laughter as she holds out her hand in front of Dad and he is cussing and swearing under his breath. “Oh my King… Pay up… You lost.” She says in between laughing and the four of us are staring at them with wide open mouths. Mom looks at the four of us with a huge smile on her face. “I told your Father that the four of you were Hunter’s Mates about two months after we moved here. The way you all reacted around her, towards her, it was a dead give-a-way. He didn’t believe me back then and even after watching the four of you closely he still didn’t believe me. Allowing Hunter to move to the Pack-house was my way of pushing you in to coming clean. I hadn’t expected it would take you this long to figure out you are all her Mate or for any of you to tell us. I also know the answer as to the why, Hunter would never be happy with one Mate. The four of you each possess a characteristic she needs to keep her balanced, just like you all need her to keep you balanced.” She explains. “Who else figured it out?” Justin asks and she tells him she was the only one. “I know that each of you confided in Pops, but not until today.” She says as she looks at Justin. “Mom, what do we do now? She is going to be pissed when we tell her, but I am not sure if I want to keep it from her any longer. Logan and I miss her, even if we didn’t see her much. Not having her living here is even worse, not being able to see her or smell her scent in a room.” We can all hear the sadness and pain in his voice, Mom sits down on the armrest and puts her arms around him. “Sweetheart, I know you miss her. I also know that she will be pissed when she finds out and I advices you to tell her in the morning, in the privacy of our wing. She has already agreed to be here before dinner and to spend the night. You need to tell her together and accept the fact that she will become angry. Don’t try to stop her or force anything on her, let her deal with this in her own time. Let her come to terms with having the four of you as her Mates, let her find answers on her own. But most of all I want you to know that she will find her way to the four of you, whether it takes a day, a week, a month or a year and I need you all to promise me that you will give her that time.” Mom says. We let her words sink in as she is still holding Jason in her arms, I hate to admit that she is right and I hate it even more that I know I have to make that promise to Mom. Unfortunately Mom is right, Hunter will be pissed and she will need time to get to terms with us keeping secrets. I just hope it will not take her a year to let us in, to let us show her how much she means to us. “Mom, even though I hate it, I promise you that I will give Hunter the time she needs.” I mumble as I stare at my hands. Jayce, Jason and Justin make the same promise and I know they feel the same way I do. “Mom, how did you know?” I ask her, because I would like to know what gave it away. She smiles at me as she sits down next to Dad, before she says, “When Pops told the story of the first Lycan King, all five of your emotions were running wild. The second Hunter sat down and you all wrapped around each other those emotions deflated fast. Jayce’s outburst when he saw Hunter in Matt’s arms, your worry when she sparred with Jayce. Justin holding her hand when she told you about my Mother, there have been a lot of things that confirmed my suspicions over and over again. I don’t think Hunter has figured it out, but she knows there is something she is not seeing. I honestly believe that deep down she knows, but it hasn’t surfaced yet.” Mom says as Dad pulls her deeper into his side. I let the events she mentioned run through my mind and I have to smile, because she is right. Without realizing it, we all gave her the clues she needed to confirm that we are her Daughter’s Mates.
