Jason’s P.O.V. None of us dares to look at Hunter, the look she gives us can kill and I don’t doubt she will rip all of us a second asshole if we ever treat her like a porcelain doll again. Dad understands that as well and I can see him gulp as he buries his nose in Mom’s neck. My Brothers and I just hold Hunter as Dad is holding Mom and slowly the silence becomes a little less uneasy, making me sigh in relief. I had feared that both of them would stay mad at us, but it seems their night away and telling us how they feel has resolved the issue. “I am sorry. I was too preoccupied with my own Pup that I didn’t think of yours, my apology is not only for Hunter, but also for you four. I can’t guarantee that I won’t mess up in the future, but I will try to remember that both of you can handle more than most.” Dad says. “Dad, we didn’t think of Hunter and our Pups either. I think it is worse that we didn’t consider the consequences, but I agree with you we probably will mess up somewhere down the line.” Hunter snaps her head towards Jayce and teasingly says, “Probably.” Mom buries her head in Dad’s neck to hide her laughter, but she is a bit to slow and Jayce looks from Hunter to Mom and back again. He puts his hands up in surrender and says, “You’re right, Princess. We will mess up some day, but promise me you will find another way to punish us.” His remark has Mom and Hunter in stitches and it takes a long time before Hunter is able to utter a word, but when she finally does she promises him that she will think of a different kind of punishment. Her phone starts ringing and she jumps up when she sees the caller-ID. After picking up she hums a few times and finally she thanks whoever was on the other end of the line, before she disconnects the call. “Uncle Todd and Aunt Sascha will be arriving before dinner.” She says with a huge smile on her face and our moods turn around completely. I can’t wait to see the looks on their faces when the realization hits them and I know that Hunter is informing Emma and Ella as they have done most of the work. I also hope that Hunter will start eating more before her family has to leave again. Mom is on the phone with Uncle Drake and I know that tomorrow the entire family will show up. It will be the first time that the whole family will be together and I make a mental note to take lots of pictures, to keep my phone near at all times. Dad decides to keep Brent and Gabe busy with the paperwork he still has to take care of and he has added a few things that need to be dealt with before everyone becomes preoccupied with the two Pups. Dad will use Mom’s pregnancy as an excuse and we know they will accept it without asking questions. Hunter has tasked Victor and Matt with investigating Marcos, to find out as much as they can about him and again it is something that will end up on the back burner when the little Pups arrive. Hunter doesn’t need an excuse as Victor and Matt know that she always comes prepared. In the meantime, we all gather on our floor to see what still has to be done and Emma and Ella surprise me as they tell us that everything is done. The Omegas got enlisted to spread the news among the Pack, which would give them time to purchase a gift if they wanted to. All gifts were to be handed to the Omegas and they would place them in the Throne room. “One of the Omegas told me they wouldn’t inform everyone, there are a few that would spoil the surprise just to spite you and they refuse to be a part of that. I told them to tell those they knew would keep it a secret from them and to hand me a list of the people they deliberately kept out of the loop. Just so we know who we can trust in the future.” Emma says with a smirk on her face. Time flies by as we are all busy with the arrival of the new additions to our family and Justin has spend the entire time in the room next to ours as that will become the nursery for our Pups, until they are big enough to sleep in a room of their own. Hunter told him to go with natural colors and that she wanted a rocking chair near the cribs, other than that he could do whatever he wanted to the room. Knowing Justin it will be all natural and he already asked me to design the rocking chair for Hunter. I even offered to design the rest of the furniture with him and he accepted my offer immediately. Martha links me that the female Mom banished is back with her Father and they demand to talk to Dad. Justin had warned us that her Father might show up with her and he had said he would throw her in the dungeons personally if they did. “Mom, she is back with her Father.” I say, because I know I don’t have to tell her who I am talking about. Hunter growls as we all make our way towards the stairs and Justin is in front of all of us with a murderous look on his face, he is not amused by the audacity of her Father. The moment he sees Dad he starts demanding answers, but he falls silent as Justin grabs her by the arm and starts to pull her towards the front door. “Cousin, why don’t you let me toss this in the dungeons? I think you might want to be there to make sure your Mate doesn’t kill her Father.” Max says. Justin nods at Max as he hands the She-wolf over to him and we follow Dad into his office. It doesn’t take long before he makes it known that he wants to talk to Dad alone, but Dad tells him that he can say whatever he has to say in front of us all or to keep his yap shut. “You can not banish my Daughter from the Palace, just because she pointed out that she can take your Mate’s place by your side.” He says to Dad and Dad just smiles at him, but he doesn't say a word. I know that Dad is waiting for him to dig his own grave. “You have been mated for over two years and as soon as the three years are up, my Daughter will challenge the Queen and take her place. You can’t do anything about that, Your Majesty.” He continues and the smile on Dad’s face gets even bigger. “Can I ask a question?” Hunter interrupts as she looks at the male and he nods his head. “Did you read every piece of that Law?” she looks at him and wait for him to respond. “Yes, I have. I have a vast knowledge of our Laws and I like reading through them to see if there is anything that can be used to gain knowledge or power.” He answers her and I can’t wait for Hunter to hand him his ass on a silver platter to him. “There are two things wrong with your reasoning. One, it only applies to a chosen Mate and Two, the Queen is pregnant.” Hunter stares at him and he looks at Dad for confirmation. Once Dad nods his head, the male apologizes for his mistake and asks to have his Daughter released. Dad looks at him, “Sorry, I can’t do that. Your Daughter was banished because she hoped that your Queen would miscarriage and I wouldn’t put it past her that she will make it happen. She will stay in the dungeons until our Pup is born and after that I will send her home. However, I want you to remember that she is banished from Palace grounds for the rest of her life and there will be no exceptions to her banishment. Make sure her future Mate is informed of this as well, if she ever sets foot on Palace grounds again she will be put to death.” Dad says and the male pales as he nods his head. Dad calls in Max, telling him the male is allowed to see his Daughter for a few minutes. Vincent is waiting outside the door for Max to escort the male to the dungeons, before he steps into Dad’s office and closes the door behind him. “Hunter, your Aunt and Uncle just drove through the gate.” He says with a smile on his face. Vincent and his Mate are one of the few people that knew what would happen and they had helped out in every way they could, even though they are expecting a Pup of their own. Unlike his parents Vincent never had a problem with the fact that Victor had an interest in men. When Ella had approached them about Hunter’s plan Vincent had tears in his eyes, because he knew that Victor had always wanted Pups and that Victor thought that that was not going to be in his future with a male Mate. Our Laws are not designed for same sex couples as Dad found out because of Gabe and Brent. The Elders had always railroaded any Law Dad brought in front of them on the subject, but that is going to change as he has gone over every Law he made with Hunter and they are still working on the details. I had enjoyed listening to their discussions and Hunter had surprised all of us as she had asked Dad to involve Gabe, Brent, Victor and Matt. She had asked them question after question and we had listened to each of them as they had given their opinion on some of the Laws. We had also given our opinion and even Max, Emma and Ella had been included in the discussions. The Elders have been given the first drafts on the Laws and Hunter asked them to read them, to make notes on suggestions or to write down their questions.
