Hunter’s P.O.V. The rest of the day is spend with Elder Matthew and Elder Edward calling Packs and we read through every message the Elders have received. The four large Packs didn’t put much in their message, just that they were opposed to the Law. However, the other Packs wrote down questions we have an answer to. I burst out in laughter at the face Papa pulls when Elder Edward address him as Prince Thomas and my Mates are not doing much better. “Thomas, get used to it. You got promoted from an Alpha’s Brother to a Queen’s Father when Aspen met Daniel.” Pops says. “Benjamin, I…” but Papa is to flabbergasted to continue talking and I start laughing even harder as I realize what Debra refused to accept. “Papa, next time you run into Debra you might want to point out your promotion.” I giggle and Papa starts laughing so much he nearly falls out of his chair. “Hunter, it is not nice making fun of a woman who already lost her Alpha-blooded Mate.” Dad says with a wink and we are all laughing so much that we don’t hear Mom walk in with Emma and Ella behind her, “And here I thought you were all busy working, but what do I find our King and our Pups having fun.” Mom says. We try to tell her why we are laughing, but I doubt anyone of us is making any sense and soon we give up trying. When Dad wants to explain everything to Mom I ask him to take her elsewhere, “Otherwise we will not be able to continue with what we were doing and I hope Elder Edward remembers what he was about to tell Prince Thomas.” I say. Papa and Pops start laughing again as I try to keep a straight face and Jayce covers my mouth with his hand, “Stop it, Princess. I will keep my hand here all day if I have to.” He says and I tell him I can think of a nicer way to shut me up. I giggle as his hand drops together with his jaw, Mom wants to say something as Jayce grabs my face and slams his lips to mine. I crawl onto his lap as I welcome his tongue, I let my tongue dance with his tongue and suddenly I hear Mom say, “Behave yourselves or Hunter will be sleeping in her old room for the next week.” We break the kiss to stare at Mom, but she isn’t mad as I see the twinkle in her eyes. “Mom, you better remember this next time Dad kisses you outside the bedroom.” Jayce mumbles and Mom actually turns a few shades of red. Dad smacks him on his head as he passes us on his way out of his office. Jayce’s P.O.V. Colt has been purring in my head ever since Hunter said she would come with us on our assignment, I know my Brothers and their Lycans will miss her during this assignment and I hope she won’t fall asleep before we get upstairs.I want us to be the reason she falls asleep from exhaustion, I know my Brothers want that too and I hope tonight will be the first night of many nights that I get to make love to her. Colt decides to give me his opinion on this matter and I realize that I have a very old-fashioned Lycan. I link my Brothers to tell them what Colt wants me to do and I am glad that we are not eating, I think someone might have actually choke if we had. They tell me their Lycans agree with Colt and I decide I should be the one to proceed with this. After placing Hunter in Justin’s lap, I walk out of the office in search of Mom and Dad, I find them in our private living room and I clear my throat as they are in the middle of a make out session. Mom hides her face in Dad’s chest and Dad actually growls at me for interrupting them. “Sorry for the interruption, but there is something I need to talk to both of you about.” I know my cheeks are as red as Mom’s cheeks are and Dad realizes this is something serious. “Jayce, sit down and tell us what is on your mind.” Dad says to me. I sit down in an armchair across from Mom and Dad, but I am not so sure how to put this into words. “Mom, Dad. I know we have the Law on our side and I know this is not necessary, but apparently my Brothers and I have very old-fashioned Lycans. We would like your blessing to mate with Hunter.” I can’t believe I actually said it and I keep my eyes on the table in front of me as I wait for Mom and Dad to reply. “Sweetheart, look at me.” Mom says and despite feeling uncomfortable I lift my eyes to look at her. “I know you don’t need our permission and I know this is not an easy topic to discuss with an adult, whether they are your parents or not. Thank you for asking us for our blessing, I know you didn’t have to do this. You have my blessing, but I am giving you and your Brothers one warning. I don’t want to become a Grandmother for at least another decade, is that very clear.” I release the breath I didn’t know I was holding and I tell her it is very clear we need protection for the next decade or so. Dad tells me he is proud of me for finding the courage to ask for their blessing. When the three of us get back to Dad’s office I see that Hunter is fast asleep in Justin’s arms, “Are we done with all the messages and questions?” I ask my Brothers and Jax tells me they have just finished up with the last message. “Good, let’s put Hunter down for an hour or so and then we can have some dinner. In the meantime, we can start packing for our trips and inform the Warriors we will be taking with us.” I say and I stand next to Justin as he gets up out of his seat with Hunter in his arms. Daphne is standing outside Dad’s office and she informs me that she and her team are ready to leave in the morning. “Thank you, Daphne. Could you assemble three more teams? Hunter and I will be traveling together, so that is taken care of. I need a team for Dad and Justin, a team for Pops and Jason and a team for Papa and Jax.” I ask her and she tells me not to worry, she will take care of everything. I smile as Gabe and Brent ask why they can’t come with Dad, “And who will look after our Queen?” I ask.
