Jason’s P.O.V. Justin and I hated being away from Hunter, but she had been right we needed to do our job and we needed to do it as good as we have always done. Luckily this assignment had been an easy one, because as soon as the Alpha had seen two Princes step out he had offered a solution real fast. A solution he probably had all along, but had hoped he wouldn’t have to give and I am glad he didn’t waste to much of our time. We still had to arrange a few things here, but we would be home on her birthday. We had been ready to head downstairs for breakfast when she gave us the scare of a lifetime, hearing her say Goodmorning through the mind-link had both of us falling on our ass and Slade and Logan had laughed their asses off for a very long time. A message from Jayce nearly has me jumping out of my skin and Justin has to call him for the entire story, because I have trouble calming Logan down. He is still furious after Jayce has explained everything, but when I ask him what the reason was Mom wanted to talk to them he goes silent. “Jason, it was not something we planned and you need to understand that we lost control to Colt and Brick.” Jax says and after he is finished speaking Justin and I are staring at one another. They didn’t do anything wrong, but damn I wish I had been there and Justin is a bit quicker in his thinking than I am. “Tonight she will be sleeping in between me and Jason and don’t you dare argue with me.” He growls and I smile as Jax tells us that they won’t argue about it. Half an hour before we get home I get another message from Jayce, Hunter is awake and they are having dinner with Uncle Luke’s team. When we walk into the Palace we hear laughter coming from the dining-room and we both chuckle as someone asks Hunter to warn them so they can run like hell. The moment her eyes land on us she jumps out of Jax's lap and runs right over to us, I catch her in my arms as I slam my lips to hers. I don’t care who sees or what they think about it, she wraps her legs around my waist and I let my tongue snake through her mouth. Martha ask Justin if the two of us still need to eat or that we will settle for Hunter and the entire room bursts out in laughter, but Hunter doesn’t react as she tightens the grip she has on me. “Okay, that is enough, Princess. Let my Brother breath while I devour you.” Justin growls and I growl as she breaks our kiss. We are both breathing heavily, but I know Justin won’t give her time to catch her breath and he holds out his arms towards her. She leans towards him and I reluctantly let her go as I look around the room to see it empty, other than the men from Uncle Luke’s team there is no one there. They don’t look strange at Hunter kissing me and Justin, making me wonder if someone told them.Once we are seated at the table Martha walks in with two plates and I thank her for saving us some dinner. Hunter sits down in Jayce’s lap and soon I find out that the guy that asked the question is John, Uncle Luke’s second in command. He knows the Pack Aunt Sasha lives at and he doesn’t have fond memories of it. His Mate lives there and she rejected him when he refused to stay there with her, we all just stare at him at that admission. “She rejected you because you didn’t want to stay in that Pack or was there another reason?” Hunter asks and the look on his face tells me there is more to this story, something none of us will like hearing. “I think she used that as an excuse. I believe that the real reason has to do with the Alpha’s Son, I could smell him on her and it wasn’t a faint scent as if he hugged her.” He says and all of us growl at his words. “John, if that is the true reason than I am glad you got away. You know my Grandmother and you know what she did to Papa, I think she would have done the same to you.” Hunter says and I get a feeling our little Mate might be right. We say goodnight to the men and we walk up the stairs as they make their way over to the cottages they will be staying at. Hunter has wrapped her arms and legs around me and my cock moves against her core with every step I take. Her breathing becomes heavy and I see Justin smile as he keeps his eyes on where our bodies touch. Jax is walking in front of us and by the movement he makes I can tell he had to adjust himself, not that Jayce and Justin are doing any better.
