Chapter 760 All Answers

Joseph’s p.o.v. I want to follow my parents, but Griffin refuses to leave Jocelyn and Joseph. “Mom and Dad will handle this, we need to take care of everything here. Mom is right, we need to get everything ready for the little ones and for Jenna. They probably need to get some sleep and I doubt Jocelyn or Joey will let them out of their sight.” Griffin says. Joey is still softly crying, while Jocelyn does her best to calm him down and I know that this is where I need to be at the moment. “Joey, everyone is on the look out for the little ones and my parents will not stop searching until they find them.” I tell him, as I place him on the couch between Jocelyn and myself. I see Inti and Indigo with our bags and I know we need to get a few more things for Jenna, Faye and Christian. What we have at the moment isn’t enough, but I will worry about that tomorrow. “Gamma Joseph, where can we put the cribs for the little ones?” A Warrior asks and I look at the people behind him, each of them carrying at least one box. “Follow me.” Indigo says and I watch as everyone follows her to my, no our Quarters. I hear them before I see them, but we let Joey head for them first and I can’t stop the megawatt smile as he hugs Jenna. “Are you okay, Princess?” Joey asks and Jenna places her hand on the back of her head, before she slowly nods her head. He places her on Jocelyn’s lap and takes a look at her head, before he places a kiss on it. “Uncle Bennett, can I have Christian, please?” Joey asks and instead of handing Christian over, he pulls Joey in his arms as he sits down. Mom places Faye in my arms and Griffin finally settles down a bit, but I know that he wants answers. Answers I know everyone wants to have and I wonder how Mom is going to get those answers, because I doubt Charles and Camilla will give them to us. Suddenly I realize I forgot one important Pack-member and I can feel a smirk appear on my face, while Griffin is feeling a bit of satisfaction for what is to come. “Mom, did you send Umayza out there?” I ask and the smile on her face tells me that she actually did, we will get those answers. Not sure if we want to have all the answers, because I truly believe that we are the only ones that reacted so fast to the loss of the little ones. “We will hold their trial tomorrow, we need to give Umayza the time to get answers and I need to inform Elder Boaz. We need to give the right example, after all we still are a Royal Pack and I will follow the law to the best of my abilities.” Mom states.Jocelyn doesn’t feel like moving from the couch and I am glad that we went up to our own floor, we need a little time with our Pups. Mom has a smile on her face, when she sees Jocelyn lying down on the floor with Faye on her chest and Jenna snuggles into her side. Joey places Christian next to Faye and then he lies down next to Jocelyn on her other side. “This is how we have slept for the last few days and it seems to have solidified the bond between the five of them. I have that same bond with Joey and the little ones, Griffin will do anything to protect them. The bond I feel with Jocelyn is something I can’t really explain, but when I do find the words I will let you know.” I say. I get down on the floor to cage Jenna in and I place my head on my elbow, just above Jocelyn’s head. I allow myself to feel the bond between the six of us and the rest of the world seems to fade away. Voices in the background are just a little buzz in the air, people walking around are just a little reminder that we are not alone. I can hear that Jocelyn is still awake, but Jenna, Faye and Christian are in a deep sleep. Joey is softly humming a song, his head is resting on Jocelyn’s shoulder and his arm is lying across Faye and Christian’s legs. “Joseph, lunch is ready.” I hear Inti say and I am surprised at the amount of time that has passed. Joey is already sitting up and he hands Christian to Dad, before he hands Faye to Mom. “Come on, Princess. We need to get something to eat.” Joey says as he lifts Jenna into his arms. I help Jocelyn to her feet, before we follow the others out of the door and head down to the main dining room for lunch. Knowing what tomorrow will bring, I decide that I want to spend the rest of the day with my family and to get this Pack-house in order. “Where is that Great Grandson of mine?” I hear Pappi ask and I get up so fast that the chair I was sitting in crashes to the floor. I spent a lot of time with Pappi and Nanna growing up, I always hated to hear Mom and Dad talk about Pack business and would rather spend my time with them. “It is so good to see you, Pappi. I have missed our conversations and Nanna’s cooking.” I say as I hug him, my eyes locked with those of Nanna. Nanna pulls Pappi out of my arms and he objects as she wraps her arms around me, but she just growls at him in a playful way.“Daddy, who is that?” I hear Jenna say as she is pulling on my sweatpants. I hear Nanna and Pappi gasp and I know I need to explain a few things to them. “Baby, be careful. I don’t think Daddy wants to end up in his underwear.” Jocelyn says teasingly and I can hear everyone laughing behind me. Nanna has pulled away from me and is looking between me and Jenna, before she looks around me at Jocelyn. “Is there something you need to tell us, Joseph?” Nanna asks, before she turns her attention to Jenna.
