Alpha Amarath
Hunter’s P.O.V. I burst out in laughter as Mom links me about the visit they got from Gabe and Brent, making Justin and Jayce turn to look at me and I know I can’t keep this a secret from them, no matter how much I want to. I crawl onto the bed and ask them if they had given any thought about the pregnant female from Three Mountain Pack. “What about her?” Jayce asks and I tell them what the Doctor had discovered during his examination, “She slept with both of them!” Jayce yells. I nod my head as Doc had explained to me that for there to be two amniotic sacs and only six weeks left, she probably slept with them on the same day. A huge grin forms on Justin’s face and I start shaking my head as I realize what he is about to ask, “Does this mean you could carry all of our Pups at once some day?” Jayce stares at him with eyes as big as saucers and all I can do is nod my head. “Gabe and Brent went to talk to Mom and Dad a little while ago and told them they want to adopt a Pup. Mom helped them searching for an adoption agency and it is a good thing it will last at least a year before they will be taking into consideration to adopt a Pup.” I say. Jayce asks me why and I tell him what I had talked about with Alpha Quinten. They both look at each other and Justin asks if I want to hand them two Pups at once, “No, they will raise the male Pup. The female Pup will be raised by Matt and Victor.” I say, making both of them smile. “Hunter, what is going on with Mom?” Justin asks and I look at him in confusion as Jayce tells him that he had not noticed anything strange. “I don’t know how to explain it, but Mom seemed different and I don’t mean in a bad way. Maybe I saw something that wasn’t there.” He responds. I tell Jayce and Justin we have to go downstairs for dinner and as we walk down the stairs our Guards and Warriors start howling, indicating that one of my other Mates has come home. I run down the stairs before Jayce or Justin can respond and I open the front door to see Jax getting out of the SUV. He opens his arms as I rush down the steps towards him and I slam my lips on his as I wrap my legs around his waist. He devours my mouth as he keeps walking, but Justin stops him before he can head up the stairs, “Dinner is ready, everyone is waiting for us.” He says. Jax growls softly as he turns towards the main dinning room with me still in his arms and he puts me on his lap after he has taken his seat. Just as Justin sits down next to us our Guards and Warriors start howling again and before Jax can react I jump of his lap, sprinting towards Jason as he jumps out of the SUV before it has come to a full stop. Daniel’s P.O.V. I am glad all our Pups are home and that we are having dinner in our private wing, because I don’t think I could have waited much longer. I want to shout that we are expecting a Pup, but I will wait until everyone is sitting down for dinner and then I will make the announcement. “How did it go with the rooms that needed to be painted?” I ask Aspen through our mind-link to keep me preoccupied and she tells me that everything went as planned, that they will not know what had been done to the rooms. I smile as I imagine the look on their faces when they find out. Both couples will make great parents and any Pup would be blessed to have parents like them. I thank the Goddess for putting this She-wolf on our Daughter’s path and to give her the wisdom on what to do with the opportunity she found. Jason walks into the room with Hunter in his arms and I feel complete with my whole family present. I turn to Aspen’s Father as I figure out the best way to announce that Aspen is pregnant, “Dad, what was the one thing you loved after Aspen was born?” I ask and for a moment the room is completely quiet. “That is an easy one, Son. Holding her in my arms.” He says and I see a sad look in his eyes as he looks at Hunter, “Something I missed out on with my little Princess.” He whispers and I can see tears forming in both their eyes. “How about another chance at holding your Grandpup?” I ask and his head snap towards me, his eyes shifting from me to Aspen and back again. “I knew it.” Justin shouts and Aspen and I look at him, both of us confused by his words. “Not that you are pregnant, Mom. Just that something was going on with you.” He explains and I see others around us nod their heads as if to agree with him. Hunter hugs her Mom as she tells her she wants a baby Sister, “We are already outnumbered by the males in this family.” She says with a pout. Dinner is spend with talking about our Pup, all our Pups want a baby Sister and Jayce already warned Hunter not to spoil her rotten. Hunter had declared she would leave that to her Grandfathers and that she would teach her little Sister how to deal with the four of them. Everyone has been smiling ever since they found out there will be a Pup running around the Palace again and I know he or she will have company as they explore the Palace. I just hope they don’t find the hidden passage ways, those things are old and not maintenanced. I remember I tried to find them as a Pup, but I was never fortuned enough to locate them and I still wonder if my Father had fooled me when he had told me about them. Two arms get wrapped around me from behind, pulling me from my thoughts and Hunter asks where I had been with my thoughts. “As a Pup my Father told me that there are hidden passage ways in the Palace, but no matter what I have never been able to find them.” I answer her and both, Hunter and Aspen, start laughing. “Sorry, Dad. I think you were not looking in the right places.” Hunter replies. She tells me she found them during her first year at the Palace and that she had used them on several occasions to avoid her Mates. Justin tells her it is to dangerous to go into those corridors as they haven’t been maintenanced in decades.“Well, I know you are wrong. There are no lights in there, but it is clean and doesn’t smell to bad either.” She answers and I link the only person I can think of that might have some answers. Just as we are finished with dinner Roland walks in and asks me what he can do for me. “Roland, do you maintenance the hidden passage ways?” I ask him, I know him well enough to know that he hates it when people don’t get to the point quickly and if anyone has the answer to this question it will be Roland. “Yes, your Majesty, just as your Father ordered me decades ago. He hoped we would never have to use them, but if we did he wanted them to be safe enough to use.” Roland answers me and I ask him to meet me in my office later, I need to know where the access points are. However, I have to make sure it doesn’t become common knowledge where we can access them and where they lead to. Hunter’s P.O.V. Justice is partying in my head, she is so happy for Mom and Dad. From the moment she surfaced she hoped that Mom would find her second chance Mate and be blessed with many Pups. We would talk about it for hours and back then we both wanted baby Brothers, but now we want baby Sisters. She is already planning what we will teach them, how we will protect them from danger and I know Justice will tear through everything and everyone that will try to harm our younger siblings. We spend the evening in the main living room and Mom is talking to Emma and Ella about what she would like in the nursery. Without realizing it Gabe and Matt give them information they need and I smile as I even hear Brent and Victor butting in to the discussion. “Sounds like you were right on what they like and dislike. I am taking notes for our plan, just make sure they are out of their Quarters and cottage tomorrow.” Ella tells me through the mind-link and I tell her I have the solution for that, “Tomorrow I will deal with Elder Ward and the rest of the Elders. I want them to know what will happen if they go against the decisions their King makes. Emma and Ella, I want the two of you to keep looking into Half Claw Pack. The rest of you I want to see in Dad’s office, we need to discuss what to do with Elder Ward. Even though the Law states that he deserves death for disobeying his King.” I say, giving Emma and Ella the time to do what they need to do. A ding from my phone lets me know that I have a message and I see that I received an email from Alpha Quinten. I read it as Jason picks me up bridal-style, telling everyone he needs some sleep and he walks out the door without bothering to ask me anything. I know why he wants to go upstairs and I guess everyone knows, not that it bothers me at this moment.
