Hunter’s P.O.V. I wake up to Jason placing kisses all over my face and as I try to get away from him I bump into Justin, who starts placing kisses on my back and neck. Suddenly I get lifted of the bed and Jayce starts to trace kisses from my cheek to my neck, while Jax is standing behind me placing kisses on my back and the other side of my neck. “Goodmorning, Princess.” Jax whispers in my ear before he starts nibbling on my earlobe. “Guys, I need to use the bathroom.” I say and I can guarantee you it is not an excuse to get away from my Mates. After I do my business I start brushing my teeth and I decide to wear black skinny jeans with an of the shoulder sweater for our trip. Just as I am done Jayce walks in and pulls me in for a kiss, I don’t think I will ever get enough of that no matter how often he kisses me. We all get dressed while Martha puts our breakfast on the table and Jayce and Justin put our bags in the hallway near the door. I put my new tablet in my bag and I thank Jason for setting it up for me, I know he did it after I fell asleep even if he tries to deny it as he always does. This time he doesn’t deny it and now I know for sure he has always been the one to setting up any of my electronic devices. We have just finished our breakfast when the door opens and Emma and Ella walk in followed by Papa and Pops. “The rest is waiting downstairs, but we wanted to give you your present as we didn’t get the chance last night.” Emma says as she sits down on Justin’s lap and I giggle at the look on his face. “What? Can’t I sit on my big Brother’s lap?” she asks as she bats her lashes at him. Justin bursts out in laughter as she gives me an innocent smile or at least she tries. Jax pulls me onto his lap as he mumbles “Before I have the other one sitting on my lap.” and Ella looks at him with a pout, making all of us laugh. Jason hands me a present and tells me it is from the four of them, like every present I have ever opened I peel open the tape on one side. I slowly push the box out and I almost drop it as I see a box containing the latest model smartphone. I just stare at the box in my hands as I try to wrap my head around the fact that they got me this phone, Ella holds a present in front of me and tells me it is from her, Emma, Max, Matt and Victor. “Max?” I ask. “Yeah, when he found out it was almost your birthday and we couldn’t think of anything he could get for you, he offered to pitch in his share.” Ella explains and I smile at the thoughtfulness of my Cousin. Their present is a case for my phone, but it looks more like a small shoulder bag and I look at Ella with a mischievous smile on my face. “How did you pick this color?” I ask her and she knows exactly where I am going with my question.“Well, first we looked at the available colors and the color of the majority of your clothes. Emma and I suggested two different colors, but Matt wouldn’t hear about it. He didn’t want a repeat of your sweatsuits.” She says and we all start laughing. “Too bad you didn’t tell Max that.” Papa says and I know that if they had Max would have bought me every color there is. Ella jumps up and rushes out of the door as she yells “I’ll tell him right now.” Pops smacks Papa on the back of his head as he says, “Nice going, idiot. Now that Nephew of yours is going to buy her that phone case in every color he can find, just to annoy the hell out of Matt.” Justin walks over to a side table and opens the top drawer, “Yeah, enough room in here for them.” and Pops sighs as he shakes his head at Justin’s antics. Just as he walks back the door opens and I hear Matt and Ella argue. “Why did you have to tell Max that you couldn’t chose between the colors and got her the safe color that goes with everything as you put it. You do know he will get her every color he can find.” Matt asks Ella and I see the smirk on her face, but she doesn’t get the chance to answer him. “That is exactly why she told me, you dumbass.” Max replies and Emma tells them that Justin even found a place for me to put them. I hide my face in Jax’s chest as I start laughing and I can feel that he is laughing too. “Martha, there will be a package arriving for Princess Hunter. You can unpack it and put it in here for her.” He says as he points at the side table. Matt stares at him with wide open eyes and mouth, while Emma and Ella are laughing their asses off. It takes us half an hour to get everyone in the SUVs and even though I didn’t want to see Mom when I woke up this morning, right now I actually hoped I got to say goodbye. Jax is standing next to me and is gesturing up with his index finger. I turn to see Mom standing in main living room, I decide to make sure she knows I am coming to terms with things and I smile at her as I wave at her. Jax kisses my forehead as he waves at Mom, before he gets in to my SUV. I get behind the wheel and I see a huge smile on her face, she knows my Mates don’t like it if someone else drives and they always argue which of them gets to drive if they travel together. We had this argument as we walked down the stairs and I finally won when I said I would let Max and the girls drive with me. Somehow they didn’t like the idea of spending the next few hours in a SUV with Matt and Victor. I couldn’t convince them with telling them I had my license or that the SUV was mine, so I had to think of a way to make sure none of them would fight me on driving my own car and Justice gave me the answer. She asked me if they would rather spend time with me or Matt and Victor.When Jayce tried to get the keys from me I had looked at him and yelled, “Emma, Ella, Max. It looks like the three of you will be riding with me and my Mates will ride with Matt and Victor.” The four of them had immediately dropped the argument, making the girls laugh and Max pout. I giggle as I start my SUV and Jayce asks me what is so funny, “Mom knows you all tried to get the keys from me and I think she likes the idea you all failed.” I say as I start driving down the lane and the Guards near the Palace stop what they are doing. The first one I pass starts howling and soon every Guard and Warrior on Palace grounds is howling with them. It is their way of acknowledging my departure, just like they did when I came home and this will happen every time I come home or leave. It is an amazing sound all those Lycans and Werewolves howling and I know that the last time they did this was when King Edward came home for the last time. Martha once told me she couldn’t wait to hear that sound again, it brought life to the Palace in seconds as no one was able to sleep through it. Aspen’s P.O.V. I watch my Daughter walk over to her SUV, “I wonder who will be driving.” I say and I hear Daniel chuckle as he steps behind me. “I have a feeling she will be driving, knowing our little girl she found a way to get them to back down.” He says next to my ear. She smiles and waves at me before I see the boys stepping in to the SUV and it turns out Daniel was right, she made them back down. I smile as she gets behind the wheel and I see her laugh. Daniel told me what would happen the moment she passes the first Guard and he told me that that will happen every time a Royal will leave Palace grounds. Remembering the sound when Hunter came home only makes it more exciting and I can’t wait for the day she comes back. The first howl holds a sadness to it and I know that it is their way of saying goodbye to our Pups, the more howls join in the sadder it sounds. A shiver runs down my spine and I feel a sadness wash over me I didn’t know I could feel, “They will be back, Beautiful.” Daniel whispers. I know they will be back and I know Hunter is getting to terms with what I did, but it doesn’t make me feel any better at the moment. I can’t wait to have her back with me and have a good conversation with her about the past two years.
