Alpha Amarath

Chapter 326 Solution

Justin’s P.O.V. After Jason’s call I wanted to kill someone and I had trouble controlling my anger as I was listening to the Gamma and Beta arguing about their mated Pups. The Gamma’s Son was mated to the Beta’s Daughter and seeing the fact both had no siblings both Fathers wanted their Pup to stay in their Pack, neither one was willing to listen to the other. This had been going on for a year now and someone in their wisdom had informed the Council, I was sent here to resolve the problem. I have been listening to this for almost two weeks now and I am growing impatient with the situation. I haven’t heard or seen the Pups on this matter, not even the Alphas have taken the time to tell me how they feel about this matter. Every moment I wasn’t listening to the two idiots arguing, I spend going over the Packs member lists and I had found the solution. “Shut up.” Slade growls as he slams his fist on the table. He janks open the door and orders the Guard to get the Alphas and Pups in the meeting-room. It only takes a minute before all the requested parties show up and take a seat at the table. I have taken control back and look at the Pups, who look like shit. The Alphas just stare at me and I wonder what would have happened if the Council hadn’t sent me down here. I keep my eyes on the Pups as I sit down in my seat, they are sitting next to their Fathers on opposite sides of the table and they glance at each other from time to time. “Do you intent to reject your Mate if we can’t find a solution?” I ask. Both Pups look at me and I can see that neither one is willing to do that, making me sigh in relief. They both tell me they won’t reject their Mate and hope that I am able to find a solution, because they can’t keep living like this. I ask the Alphas if they have thought of a way to fix this and the Beta’s Alpha tells me it his not his problem to solve. His Beta just stares at him and I see anger flashing in his eyes. I get up and instruct the Pups to follow me, I walk to an other meeting-room and ask them to take a seat. “I have a solution, but I need to know if the two of you think this might work out.” I say before I tell them what I found out. The girl tells me that the Alpha has been treating her Father unfair ever since her Mother died and she could never figure out why. I send them out the backdoor and tell them to spend some time together, while I talk to the others. I call the Gamma’s Alpha in to the other meeting-room and I ask him where his Beta is. I find out that his Beta left about six months ago and no one has heard from him since. His Beta lost his Mate a few weeks before that and he had trouble dealing with it, his Son had taken over the Beta position. A position he would have gotten after the Alpha stepped down. I tell him what the girl told me and I informed him of my suspicions regarding the Alpha and Beta, he seems to understand where I am going with the information. He tells me it would be the best solution for the next few years. A few minutes later the Beta walks in and I ask him to sit down before I ask him to tell me what is going on between him and his Alpha. Slade growls in my head the more the Beta tells me about his issues with his Alpha. His Alpha had taken over the Pack when he had found his fated Mate, but she had died while giving birth to their Son. The first Harvest Moon after that they had attended a ball and the Alpha had shown interest in a young female, telling his Beta he would take her as his chosen Mate. Unfortunately for the Alpha she was his Beta’s fated Mate and even though he had never made a move, he made it clear to his Beta he was unhappy. His Alpha started acting differently towards him after his Mate had died and the Beta was getting fed up with the situation. I ask him to link his Daughter and to ask them to return to the meeting-room, because I will resolve this matter. I look at everyone in the room before I start speaking, “I have the answer to this problem and it is one that both Alphas could have come up with themselves. Beta, if I am not mistaken you have a younger Brother?” I state and he nods his head. “Good, I don’t believe your Alpha has an issue with him, does he?” the Beta shakes his head and I can see that he understands my questions. “Beta, would you move to another Pack if it meant for your Daughter to be happy?” I ask and I see his Alpha looking at the both of us. The Beta says, “I would be more then willing to move for my Daughter’s happiness.” I tell his Alpha that his younger Brother can take over the position of Beta and his Son can take over from him. I tell them that with the Beta moving with his Daughter, this Pack will gain an experienced Beta who can train the future Beta and the Pups get to be together. I tell the Beta’s Alpha if he makes trouble for his Beta or their moving I will be back with my Brothers and I tell the Beta to contact me if his Alpha gives him trouble. I come home just in time for our meeting with Dad and I wonder if he knows why Hunter said something like that. I don’t have to wait to long for an answer, because the moment the door closes behind us Dad asks if we have lost our minds. We can tell that he is angry with us, but I have no idea why. Jayce asks him what is going on and Dad tells us that we better watch what we say or do around Hunter. That she threatened to avoid us for the rest of our lives if we couldn’t act civil with or around her friends. “She hates the fact that none of you ever took the time to talk to Matt, that you seem to growl at every male that comes close to her and she has put up with it for long enough. She is done and you will pay the price if you don’t back off. Hunter is a smart young lady and she can make her own decisions, she doesn’t need your help. Stop acting like this or I will back up what ever she wants, am I making myself clear?” Dad looks us in the eye, one by one and we know that he is very displeased with us at the moment. He doesn’t wait for a response from us as he walks out of his office and slams the door shut behind him. The four of us stare at each other and Slade is going berserk in my head, he is ranting on and on about what an idiot I am. “Slade, I can’t help it. You act the same way I do, the only difference is that I do it out loud. She sees what I do or how I act, she doesn’t see you and then you’re calling me an idiot.” “It is easier to blame you than it is to blame our Brothers. You better fix this before she actually does something to keep us out of her life for good. What if she never finds out she is our Mate?” I hate thinking of that, but I know he is right and I know I have to try and fix this. The problem is how do I fix this, how do I make sure my Brothers and I don’t push this to far with Hunter. Apparently my Brothers are also arguing with their Lycans, I can see it in their faces and the changing of their eye color. I keep watching them as I try to find away to convince them to take it easier on Hunter and any male she comes in contact with. Once they are all done arguing with their Lycans I ask them what we are going to do, Jayce growls before he says “We have to back off, Dad was seriously mad at us and I think he will follow through on his threat. She could decide to move out of the Palace and then there will be no one able to keep an eye on her. She will turn sixteen soon and that means she will be allowed to move out if she wants to.” We all growl at that prospect. Martha walks in with four plates and puts them in front of us as she looks from one to the other, “You boys better start getting your act together or that girl is going to hand you your asses.” She says before she walks out of the office.
