Alpha Talon’s P.O.V. “Father, we just entered the Pack-house, we will be in your office in a minute.”Xandros says and I tell Roger and his Guards that she is almost here. I can’t wait to see the look on her face when he forcefully marks her, but first I have to get her comfortable. In my mind I have gone over everything I want to say, just to make sure that she lets her guard down. I keep my eyes on the papers in front of me as the door to my office opens and my Son and Daughter walk in. “Please, sit down. I will be done in a second.” I say as I gesture to the seats in front of my desk. Xandros asks to be excused so he can get back to work, I tell him that he is excused and I am glad I don’t have to make up an excuse to send him out of my office. He closes the door behind him and I keep staring at the papers just a little longer. I close the file and move it to the left of my desk, after all Tali has been in my office enough to know where I put everything. I finally look up at her and as usual her eyes are on the floor. “Tali, as I said in my note Alena is gone. With that I mean that she is dead, she went out for a walk at night and was attacked by rogues.” My Daughter gasps, but doesn’t look at me. “After I got over the initial shock, I realized that I had wronged you by following her lead. I felt that you needed a Mate, but she said that you would never find a Mate. She said that I had to start thinking on getting you a chosen Mate and for a long time I fought her on that idea. But a few months ago, someone asked me to become your chosen Mate.” I see her eyes widen and I give her a small smile. Alpha Roger’s P.O.V. Hearing him talk to Tali makes me sick to my stomach, but I know that this is all just an act. When he tells her someone asked to be her chosen Mate, I get up and walk towards them.As I sit down, she lowers her head again and looks at the floor as she always does. “Hello Tali, I don’t know if you remember me. We met when you turned sixteen, during one of my visits with your Father. I am the one that asked your Father if I could be your chosen Mate. I understand why Alena thought it was in your best interest if your Father found you a Mate.” I say and I see a smirk on Talon’s Face. “What do you mean?” She asks quietly and I lean closer to her as I say “Most men are selfish, they only think of their own pleasure and not that of their Mate. For a female that is very uncomfortable, especially if she is still a virgin.” Her face turns beet-red at my words and I have to control myself, I lean in even closer as I continue my talk. “A Wolf that wants to mark his Mate, chosen or fated, will do what he needs to do. Including hurting her as he takes her and marks her. They can’t be gentle, they are rough and cruel and your first instinct will be to fight it. And that will only make matters worse.” I sit back and let my words sink in. Her face has shot from one color red to the next and I can’t wait to call her mine. “What about you?” I almost didn’t hear her question and for a moment I am at a loss for words. My Wolf wants to tell her that we won’t care either, but he knows that she is still too much on edge to get close enough to her. I have changed my mind on how I want to mark her, but I will force myself on her if she tries to fight me in any way. “I will do everything I can to control my Wolf. But I need you to understand that that will be very difficult.” She looks at me for the first time and I am amazed by the beauty of her eyes. Does he really think I am that gullible? From the moment I walked in, I knew that Roger was in the room and I sensed the Guards even before I walked in to the room. I had warned the others about them and for a moment I feared that Ward would tell me to get the hell out of there. I had kept the link open so they could all hear what Father had to say, Grandfather had been growling the entire time and I had to restrain Ivory from laughing out loud. When Roger had moved from the couch to the seat next to me, my first reaction was to jump up and run. But it was Ivory that kept me grounded. As he spoke, she would sometimes flash images at me and I knew that I blushed at just the appropriate moments. However I don’t think it was wise to yell “yuck” through the mind-link, when I saw the bulge in his pants. Grandmother asked me what was wrong and when I pointed out what had happened, my Mates were the ones growling in my head. “I have had enough of this bullshit. I am going to put them both straight, once and for all.” I grumble in the mind-link, the second I hear Ragnar confirm that they are in place. “Father, how did you know where I was?” I ask as I turn my head towards him and I can see that I caught him off guard with my question. Alpha Roger on the other hand probably thought this through just a little bit better. “Your Father contacted the Council after Alena died and explained to them that she had been jealous of you. That the charges had been fabricated and that he wanted you to come home.” He is quick with his answer. I turn towards Roger and say “It had nothing to do with that Bitch, you call Sister.” I spit at him and his face pales as he realizes that I know exactly how they found out where I was. I get up and walk towards the window. “Do you know where your Sister is, Alpha Roger.” I ask and as I look at him, I know that he knows where she is and what they have done to her.
