The Cherished Pet of Nine Beast Husbands
"Chirp chirp!" There should be boundaries between males and females. My body belongs to my future huntress, and no one else. "Chirp... chirp... chirp..." Seeing him struggle, Corvin swatted Coalball with a paw, pinning him by the washbasin so Emma could wash him. "Thank you, Corvin." Emma grabbed Coalball's wing, making sure he couldn't escape. "Coalball, you're way too filthy. Just look at the water, it's all black now!" She was honestly shocked at how dirty Coalball was: a whole basin of water had turned darker than ink. Emma squeezed some body wash into her hand and started scrubbing Coalball. At first, Coalball struggled as if his life depended on it. However, he just gave up and even started enjoying himself. He shut his eyes tight, like he was in denial. His body and his brain were at war, torn between shame and comfort. He realized with horror that a strange female had touched his body. How would he ever explain this to his future huntress? Worst of all, he was starting to like Emma's touch... Emma carefully scrubbed Coalball all over, and when she got to his belly, she found a patch of feathers underneath that was fiery red. She wasn't sure if she was imagining it, but after the bath, Coalball's body looked a bit redder. "Coalball, this red patch of feathers is actually kind of pretty." Emma stroked that spot. The next second, Coalball suddenly snapped his wings shut, hiding the place she'd just touched. Doesn't this little female know that's a male bird's... most private spot? How could she touch there so casually? She rolled her eyes at his over-the-top reaction. "What are you freaking out for? I didn't even touch your private parts." Lucien was speechless. You did, though! That's exactly where you touched... He nearly broke down. The poor bird was totally traumatized. Emma really had no idea—she didn't even know Coalball was male. To her, a bird was just a bird. Male or female, it made no difference. After Emma washed Coalball, she dried him off and tossed him to the robot assistant to have his feathers blown dry. Then she changed the water and started giving Corvin a bath. Corvin was perfectly well-behaved and fully cooperative. My huntress is so gentle... This feels so good... He was practically in heaven. … After a full day and all that work bathing Coalball and Corvin, Emma's arms felt like they might fall off. She handed Corvin to a humanoid robot, then had another one show her to the bedroom Edric had arranged for her. The bedroom was massive—over 2,000 square feet—with a Dreamspire Stone ceiling that could project any scene imaginable, whether it was summer sunshine, the night sky, or endless prairies. There was a giant 300-square-foot bed, draped with a green bed canopy. Cute plushies and pretty gems were scattered everywhere, and the walls were lined with beast cores packed with pure energy. To the left was a hidden walk-in closet. One voice command was all it took to reveal 2,000 square feet of space made from spatial stone. All the latest Central Planet trendy outfits for girls hung neatly on display. There were even the latest combat suits. On the right was a jewelry cabinet, filled to the brim with luxury accessories. Edric had probably bought Emma every accessory he could find. Shoes, combat boots, storage bands, capsules—whatever Edric could think of, he got for her. The room was also filled with furniture made from rare materials and a writing desk. In front of the giant windows was a huge swimming pool. The pool water was pale blue, enriched with top-tier skin-care serums. Swimming there would make Emma's skin glow. The bathroom was also stocked with high-end skin-care products. Emma took out Coalball's perch, set it on the desk, and went to the closet for pajamas. Every set Edric picked was made from fancy fabrics and was super cute. Some were pretty sexy, though. It was nothing like the loungewear Emma usually wore, but honestly, no woman could resist pretty clothes. Emma grabbed a lilac nightgown and headed for the bath. She enjoyed a soak in the jacuzzi. … When she got out, the robot came over with a towel, gently dried her off, and blow-dried her hair. Other robots came to clean the bathroom. Emma didn't have to lift a finger. She flopped around on the gigantic bed, rolling over and over, but never managed to reach the middle. Now, she finally understood how those CEOs felt in those over-the-top scenes in romance novels, waking up in beds that were over 30 feet wide. She could sum all of this up in one sentence. This is heaven!
