The Cherished Pet of Nine Beast Husbands
The forest was full of tall trees, grass, and herbs. Lucien was completely black, and it was hard to find him among the dark plants at night. Emma searched for several minutes but still didn't see him. "I swear I saw it fall right here." Edric and Damian had already sensed that he was struggling in the pile of herbs with their mental power. They had planned to tell Emma, but when they realized he was male, they both fell silent. No one said a word. Males were always possessive. They all wanted to keep the females to themselves, but since there were far more males than females in the interstellar world, they had to follow the rules set by the Beast God. Sharing Emma's affection with other matched males was already hard enough. Now, even a bird wanted to compete with them for her attention? No way. Absolutely not. When Damian saw that Emma couldn't find the ugly thing, he kept apologizing to her. "I'm sorry, Ms. Tibarn. I didn't know that was your lifesaving bird. It was so ugly that I thought it was some kind of beast in the forest. I got scared and kicked it away without thinking." Emma knew Damian didn't do it on purpose. "I'm not blaming you. Just help me find Coalball." Damian and Edric really didn't want to look for him.Damian said again, "Ms. Tibarn, maybe Coalball flew off after it fell. If you like birds, I'll give you some when we go back. There are lots of rare birds in the interstellar world. Some can sing, some can dance, and some can even talk." "Yeah, Emma," Edric added, backing him up. "Damian is right. There are plenty of interesting birds in the interstellar world. If you like them, we'll catch some for you." As long as they were female birds, Emma could keep as many as she wanted. "I'm not interested in those birds. I promised Coalball I'd take it back. We have to find it." He was the bird that had saved her life, and since Damian had kicked him away, Emma felt uneasy not knowing where he was. Seeing how determined she was, Damian and Edric started to hesitate about whether they should bring the bird to her. A soft chirp came from the grass. Just as they hesitated, Lucien finally broke free from the herbs that trapped him. He climbed out of the grass in a mess, lowering his head as he struggled toward Emma's feet. He looked up weakly, chirping twice as he stared pitifully at her. Many of his black feathers had fallen off, leaving bald spots that made him look even uglier. Edric and Damian both turned their eyes away. He was so ugly they couldn't even look at him. Emma was surprised and happy when she saw the creature at her feet. She quickly picked him up. "Coalball, thank goodness you're still alive." Lucien's heart skipped a beat as she held him gently with care. Damian and Edric are terrible, but the little female is kind. He chirped softly twice. Little female, can you give me some potion?I'm seriously hurt. Damian almost killed me with one kick. It was as if Emma understood what he wanted. She quickly took out a potion from her ring, ready to feed it to him. "Emma, let me feed it," Edric said. His eyes darkened when he saw her about to feed him herself. Even he had never been lucky enough to have her feed him a potion. Why should that ugly thing get it? Damian chimed in, "Ms. Tibarn, let us handle this kind of rough work." Lucien was even being held in her hands. He didn't get that kind of treatment. He wondered if he could transform into a mini version of his beast form so she could hold him like that too. Lucien chirped weakly again, making it clear he refused to let Edric and Damian feed him. He wasn't stupid. He had only used up his ability. Damian had kicked him away, leaving him trapped in the herbs. These two had sensed him earlier but chose not to help, clearly not wanting to save him. Now they wanted to feed him a potion. Who knew what they were planning? Emma noticed his refusal and said to the two of them, "It seems it doesn't want you to feed it. I'll do it myself." After she fed him the potion, Lucien's condition seemed a little better. He probably wouldn't die now. Once they found Lucien, Emma, Edric, and Damian quickly left the forest. When they stepped outside and saw the bright blue sky, Emma held Lucien in her arms and was about to take out her Gravicar. Before she could, Damian waved his hand, and a small warship-like Gravicar appeared in front of her. It looked high-end and luxurious. He handed the Gravicar's capsule to Emma.
