The Cherished Pet of Nine Beast Husbands
At a time like this, how could she even be thinking that way? Emma scolded herself, then nervously asked Corvin, "Corvin, what happened to you? Why did you suddenly turn back into your beast form?" "Emma, I'm fine." Corvin lay on the bed, swishing his tail and tapping her hand with his paw. "Emma, come get in bed. I have a surprise for you." Emma looked at him suspiciously, but lay down beside him anyway. As soon as she did, the little blue liger beast nudged closer, rubbing his fuzzy head against her cheek. His breath was warm on her skin, leaving her a little ticklish. Her heart melted instantly, and she reached out, wanting to give him a few pets. But just then, Corvin shifted back to his human form and pulled her into his arms. Emma stared at him in shock. "Corvin, why aren't you wearing any…" Clothes… Meeting Corvin's burning eyes, she swallowed the rest of her words. She could feel the intense heat of his body through her thin pajamas. "Corvin, do you have a fever?" Emma asked with concern. "No." Corvin looked at her, his furry ears twitching. I don't have a fever. I'm just… But I can control myself. Really… "Emma!"Corvin held her tighter, his strong chest pressed against her. Then he took her hand, wrapped it around his waist, and placed it on his tail. "Emma, pet it. It misses you." Her hand landed on his fluffy tail. It was soft and alive with heat. She stroked it gently, feeling the muscles flex beneath her fingers. She gave it a light squeeze. "Mm…" A muffled moan slipped from Corvin's throat as he tightened his arms around her. Pressed together, with only her thin pajamas between them, Emma could hear his heartbeat pounding, faster and heavier with each beat. Corvin took a deep breath, struggling to calm the heat inside him. He buried his face in her neck, his voice rough from restraint. "Emma, don't move… Just let me catch my breath…" Emma listened to him and felt his reaction, not daring to move a muscle. But her hand stayed on his tail. It took a long while for Corvin to find his voice again. He lifted his head to look at her, his pale blue eyes a little misty. "Emma, I didn't mean to be in your bed without clothes…" His voice was tinged with embarrassment and a hint of hurt. "I wanted to wear pajamas, but I searched the whole closet and couldn't find one that looked good." He looked like a guilty puppy, wrapping his tail around her wrist. "Emma, don't be mad at me, okay? My taste isn't great. The pajamas I bought don't look as good as the ones Silas wears…" Emma understood right away. He was secretly asking her for a gift. Seeing his ears droop and the hope in his eyes, she quickly pulled a delicate box from her storage band and handed it over."I already got one for you." She would never show favoritism. Everyone got a gift. Corvin's blue eyes lit up as he took the box, delight all over his face. "Emma, you already had a present ready for me?" "Of course." Emma smiled. "When I buy gifts, everyone gets one." Corvin planted a quick kiss on her cheek. "I know you are the best." He all but snatched the box, but his hands were gentle, as if handling something precious. His long fingers fumbled with the ribbon and lifted the lid. Emma had gotten him a silk robe in glacier blue to match his beast form. The fabric was top-quality silk, shining softly in the light. The robe had a V-neck collar to show off his chest and collarbones, and a matching belt. Most importantly, there was a special opening in the back for his tail.Inside the box, there was also a pair of frameless silver glasses. The lenses were crystal-clear, and the simple, high-tech design fit his role as a master mech builder.
