The Cherished Pet of Nine Beast Husbands

Chapter 441 Remy's Transformation

Deep blue energy began to swirl and gather rapidly around Remy's tiny body, wrapping him completely in glowing clusters of light. The radiance washed over Silas' face, tinting half of it a soft shade of blue. Inside that cocoon, pure and powerful life energy surged and condensed at an astonishing speed. Within moments, the light scattered. "Daddy…" Perched happily on Silas' shoulder, Remy stretched out his newly formed little arms, wrapped them around Silas' face, and planted a wet kiss on his cheek. Silas stared in shock at the little one on his shoulder. He couldn't believe how little time the Ebonheart fruit had allowed Remy to take human form. That said, perhaps the energy hadn't been enough because though he now had arms, legs, and a head, the rest of his body was still a fruit. "Daddy, Daddy, I've taken the human form!" Remy crowed, a tiny transparent flower blooming atop his head as he curiously examined his new body.Standing on Silas' shoulder, he wobbled awkwardly, testing his stubby legs and plump little arms. His small face was impossibly adorable, his delicate features the mirror image of Emma's, and his eyes shone as clear and dark as obsidian. The translucent flower on his head caught the light and shimmered in a halo of rainbow hues, making him look like a living figurine. Just then, Emma, who had been about to leave the room, heard a noise near the door. She turned to look—and before she could even see what was happening, a small blur darted straight into her arms. Instinctively, she caught it. "Mommy, Mommy…" Remy nestled in her palms, hugging one of her fingers and looking up at her with a beaming smile. The little flower atop his head bobbed back and forth as he moved. Emma froze. She stared in disbelief at the tiny creature in her hand—its head crowned with a clear little blossom—and then looked up at Silas standing in the doorway. "Silas… is this… Remy?" Silas finally snapped out of his own shock. Stepping closer, he studied the tiny figure in Emma's palm, his eyes filled with a mix of wonder and helplessness. "Yes, it's our Remy. The Ebonheart Fruit's energy must have triggered his transformation ahead of time." He sighed as he looked at Remy's plump fruit body. "But it seems the energy wasn't enough for a full transformation." Not only was the transformation incomplete, but Remy hadn't even grown any bigger. The miniature form looked so much like a collectible figurine that it gave Silas a mild headache. Had Remy remained in fruit form for three years, he would have matured naturally into a petalyn therian. But now that he had forced his evolution through external energy, he would need more help to complete it. Silas knew this meant a great deal of trouble ahead. "Wow… Remy, you're absolutely adorable," Emma said, eyes shining with affection and curiosity. She gently poked his round little body with her fingertip—the texture was soft and springy. Unable to resist, she poked him again. "Mommy, that tickles…" Remy squealed with laughter, squirming like a playful little fish in her palm. The sight melted Emma's heart completely. Holding him close, she brought him up to eye level, resting her forehead lightly against his smooth little one. "You're amazing, Remy. So small, and you can already take human form." "Mommy, I have an ability now too! I can protect you from now on!" Remy declared proudly. He raised his tiny hand, and a deep blue lightning bolt appeared in his palm—shaped just like one of Silas' leaves. Then, without warning, he tossed it aside. Boom! A deafening crack echoed through the room as the bolt blasted a hole the size of a soccer ball into the wall. He had moved so fast that neither Emma nor Silas could react in time. That's… Edric's room, they could only muse. What stunned them even more was that Edric's room was built from spatial stone, a material nearly impossible to damage. Yet Remy, freshly awakened and newly transformed, had just punched a hole straight through it. That talent's unreal… Silas swiftly plucked Remy out of Emma's hands and scolded him sternly. "Who said you could use your ability inside the house?""I… I didn't mean to," Remy mumbled, clearly guilty but trying to explain himself. "I just wanted Mommy to see my power." After all, he shared the same lightning-based ability as his mother. "I'm sorry, Daddy!" he blurted out quickly. "I swear I'll never use my ability indoors again!" Seeing him plead so pitifully, Emma hurried to rescue him from Silas' grasp. Because Remy hadn't fully transformed, the vine that connected him to Silas still remained—he couldn't stray too far from him. Cradling him close, Emma stood beside Silas and pleaded softly, "Silas, he just transformed today. Let it go this time." Remy, hearing his mother speak up for him, clung to her finger with teary eyes. Mommy really is the best.
