The Cherished Pet of Nine Beast Husbands

Chapter 350 I Have Something For You

"Huntress." Marcus looked like he'd found his savior. He rushed over to Emma, his huge frame trembling, his eyes turning red with frustration. "Huntress, you have to save me. I really can't eat another fruit." If he ate one more, he was sure he'd throw up. Before Marcus even finished, Malrik came running out of the kitchen holding another fruit. The moment he saw Emma standing in the middle of the room, he froze as if someone had hit the pause button. The fruit slipped from his hand and hit the floor with a soft thud, but he didn't even notice. He was so overwhelmed that even his fingers trembled. "Hunt...ress?" He called out to her, barely above a whisper, afraid the slightest sound would make her vanish. Emma turned, locking eyes with Malrik.Everyone else just stared in shock. So the second he saw his Huntress, he was back to normal? Malrik slowly walked over to Emma. "Huntress, is it really you? "Am I dreaming?" "It's me." Emma nodded, watching him closely, a bit confused by how normal he suddenly seemed. He didn't look dumb at all. Once he heard her say yes, Malrik couldn't hold it in anymore. He darted forward and wrapped Emma in a tight embrace. "Huntress, it really is you!" He buried his face in her neck, voice trembling with tears. "I finally found you... I'm so glad. "I thought... I thought I'd never see you again..." He held her so tightly, it was like he wanted to pull her into his very bones. Emma could feel how anxious and scared he was.She gently patted Malrik's back and spoke softly, "It's okay now. Don't be scared." Lucien and the others had already told her what Malrik had been through in the Enchanter Clan. She knew he'd been through hell. Malrik nodded hard at the sound of Emma's voice. "Huntress, I have something for you." He let go of her, then thrust his hand into his own chest without hesitation. "Malrik!" Emma and the others all shouted in alarm. "Huntress, don't worry. I'm okay." Blood instantly poured out as he tore open his chest, but Malrik just smiled through the pain and slowly pulled out a luminous white fruit. With shaking hands, he offered the fruit to Emma, his voice trembling. "Huntress, I got the Beast God's fruit. It's for you!" He'd held onto that fruit no matter how much Celia and the clan tortured him, and now he was handing it over to Emma without a second thought. Beast God's fruit? He'd really gotten it. Lucien and the others stared, trying to imagine how he'd managed to pull it off on Beast God Mountain. Emma saw the pain behind Malrik's brave smile, her heart tightening in her chest. Even her breathing felt tight. "Huntress... here! Take it!" Malrik pushed the fruit forward, his voice so weak it nearly faded away. "Malrik!" Emma snapped out of it and grabbed hold of Malrik as he started to fall. Marcus, being closest, hurried to help steady him. "Huntress!" Malrik stubbornly held out the Beast God's fruit, still staring at Emma. "I've kept it hidden inside me ever since I got it, no matter what Celia did. I'm just glad... you're not sick. "I know you don't need it right now, but I still want you to have it. "Huntress, will you take it?" If you take it, it means you're accepting me, too! For Malrik, the fruit was part of himself. Giving it to Emma meant giving himself to her. Emma immediately understood. A surge of complicated feelings filled her clear eyes—pain, gratitude, and something she couldn't quite name. She looked into Malrik's hopeful, stubborn, vulnerable gaze and couldn't bring herself to say no. Her fingers shook as she reached for the fruit. "All right. I'll take it." Her voice was gentle, but it instantly soothed every fear in Malrik's heart. "Huntress, thank you."Malrik smiled, pure happiness blooming on his pale face. He looked as happy as a kid getting candy. But the next moment, his body gave out, and he collapsed. "Malrik!" Emma cried out, catching him. As he passed out, the white glow that protected the fruit faded, revealing a deep, bloody wound in his chest. Blood soaked through his clothes in an instant. Emma's face went white as she called out to Silas.
