The Cherished Pet of Nine Beast Husbands

Chapter 259 Rank 7 Awakening

Just moments ago, Marcus had probed with his mental power. Nothing seemed amiss in Emma's room. Emma should be safe. Yet, judging by Edric's behavior, he seemed to be hiding something—something about Emma. Over an hour later, Emma opened her eyes, a thin bolt of blue lightning flashing across them. Now at Rank 7, she felt utterly transformed. Her ink-black hair cascaded like a waterfall. Her features retained their familiar shape, yet they now appeared as if a divine artisan had meticulously sculpted them with the finest blade. Her skin gleamed like top-grade white jade. Under the light, not a single flaw marred its perfection. She had truly reached Rank 7. The transition had been far too smooth. Thrilled, she rose to her feet and opened the door to step outside. Immediately, the three of them outside heard movement and instinctively raised their hands, prepared to knock. "Emma!" Corvin called out first. "Are you okay?" Hearing his voice, Emma walked over and swung the door open. The sight of all three standing there startled her. "Why are you all at my door?" she asked, smiling. Edric, Corvin, and Marcus stared, stunned. Only a few hours apart, and she had already leapt to Rank 7. Marcus forced down his shock and said, "Ms. Tibarn, congratulations on reaching Rank 7." Corvin appeared even more astonished. "Emma, you're insane. You actually leveled up again in such a short time." With no battles and no complications, she had simply advanced, displaying a level of talent that was astonishing. Emma had prepared her explanation. She told them, "I reached Rank 7 so smoothly thanks to Remy." Remy was the cub she and Silas shared, even though he had not yet fully formed. Marcus and the others already knew Silas' cub was named Remy. "Remy helped you?" It wasn't just Corvin—Marcus and Edric were equally stunned. Emma nodded. "I didn't mention it earlier because I didn't want you to worry. Once I discovered I had a cub, I began absorbing beast cores more efficiently. "That day, Remy even told me in a dream that he'd help me level up. So this time, I broke through so quickly." She was not fabricating the story. She was telling the truth. "Remy is incredible!" Corvin exclaimed without hesitation. At this moment, he envied Silas above all else. "Beast God, what kind of luck did Silas have? Did he save the Beast God's life or something?"The Beast God had actually granted Silas such an incredibly powerful cub. Corvin leaned toward Emma and whispered, "Emma, talk to Silas. Tell him to let me raise Remy. I promise I'll feed him well—make him chubby, adorable, and insanely smart!" Emma's mouth twitched. Corvin, do you even realize how difficult it is to raise this cub? "You'll have your own cub someday, but forget Remy. He's fruit, and you're a liger beast. Different species—you can't raise him." If Remy could have been handed off, Emma was certain Silas would have done it already. That was just the kind of person he was. Corvin thought for a moment. Petalyn therian did raise their cubs differently. "True... I probably can't raise Remy." He didn't look discouraged. "Then I'll wait until he grows up and speak to Silas again." Emma sighed inwardly. Silas would probably kill him. Afraid Corvin might say something worse, she quickly shifted the topic. "It's late. Why aren't you sleeping? Why are you all camped at my door?" Since they were leaving tomorrow, they should have been resting. Edric spoke quickly, "Emma, we're here to keep you company. Pick someone for tonight." Marcus and Corvin straightened, both eyes fixed on her. Previously, they had held back because of her pregnancy. Now they knew it was a false pregnancy until she officially bonded with Silas. The competition was on. From the second floor, Kieran watched with envy, wondering when he'd get a chance to compete for favor in front of her. Emma looked at the three, weighing her options. Choosing one would hurt the others. So she said, "Since you're all here, come in together." Edric, Marcus, and Corvin froze, their minds struggling to process what they had just heard.Emma ignored their stunned expressions and waved downstairs at Kieran. "Kieran, you too." Kieran had not expected Emma to call him.
