The Cherished Pet of Nine Beast Husbands
She only slept for a whole day and night because she was too tired, right? "You've been asleep for three days." It was normal. The first time a female formed a bond, she would be exhausted and sleep for a long time. It made sense that Emma had slept that long. As long as her breathing was steady and she was fine, there was nothing to worry about. "I slept for three days?" Emma was shocked. The last time she had slept that long was three years ago. She had spent seven days and nights hunting beasts in the forest without rest to get a beast core. "Where's Edric?" Emma looked at Corvin and asked. Corvin had already guessed she would ask about Edric the moment she woke up. He said, "Edric is in Lucien's study. Do you want to see him? I can call him over."He was about to turn on his lightcore. "No need." Emma shook her head right away. It was enough that she knew where Edric was. She looked down at the beast mark on her chest. A small purple-black snake was coiled right beneath Lucien's mark. It looked calm and serious. "Corvin, I'm a little hungry. Let's go to the kitchen and make something to eat." She had slept for so long. Even though Edric and the others had probably fed her nutrient fluids, she still felt hungry. "Silas already made some food. He said you've been asleep too long, so you can't eat anything greasy. Everything's light. I'll go get it for you." Emma had just woken up, so she needed to save her strength. Lucien and Silas had both said that this bonding had worn her out. She needed to rest for two more days. Even though Corvin was anxious, he had to hold back for her sake. He knew Lucien and Silas were probably even more anxious than he was. Just as he reached the door, Silas came in carrying a tray of food. When Corvin saw him, he quickly stepped aside to let him in. Over the past few days, all of them had stayed home, taking turns watching over Emma and cooking. Every two hours, someone made food just in case she woke up hungry. Following Silas into the room was Malrik, wearing a princess dress and a jeweled hair clip. "Emy, you're awake." When he saw her getting out of bed, Silas set the tray on the table and quickly walked up to her. He placed his fingers on her wrist and slowly sent his ability into her body. Emma watched him move but stayed quiet. When Silas confirmed that she was fine, he finally let out a long breath. After he finished checking, Emma smiled at him."Don't worry. I feel great now. I feel full of energy." Seeing her so happy, Silas smiled too. "I fed you a few flowers while you were asleep." Emma looked at him with surprise. "You're in bloom again?" Silas nodded with a small smile. "Tonight I'll stay with you. Can you help me pick them? Lucien already said you need to rest for two more days. I'll just keep you company. We won't do anything else." During those two days, whoever she wanted to stay with her would depend on their own effort. Lucien was always the most thoughtful. She might as well rest for a day first. She couldn't let Silas' kindness go to waste. Emma nodded. "Then it's settled. I'll help you pick the flowers tonight." Corvin watched her agree so easily and couldn't help wishing he could be in bloom too. After washing up, Emma sat down to eat. Just then, a fluffy creature in a white princess dress jumped into her arms. "Cotton Candy?" Seeing the bunny dressed like a little princess with a sparkling clip on its head, Emma's lips twitched. Cotton Candy is a male rabbit. So why is he dressed like a princess now? Squeak! Malrik had been with Silas these past few days and hadn't been able to get close to Emma. He used to think Marcus was strange. Now it turned out Silas was even worse. He might look like a bunny, but he was still male. Silas knew that, yet he dressed him in a skirt and gave him a hair clip. Malrik was about to lose his mind. He looked up at Emma with watery eyes. Squeak! You're finally awake. Please keep me by your side.If this went on, he might not be able to stop himself from hurting Silas. "Emy, didn't I dress him up nicely?" Silas looked at Malrik, who was on the verge of tears, and smiled. "You don't know how much he loves dressing like this." "Really?" Emma looked down at the rabbit in her arms. She froze for a moment. Actually, now that she looked at it again, the pink bunny in a white princess dress with a shiny clip did look adorable. It was sweet and pretty enough to melt anyone's heart. "As long as Cotton Candy likes it." Emma smiled and gently patted his head. "You look really pretty like this, Cotton Candy." Pretty? Ms. Tibarn's actually complimenting me? Malrik blinked his beautiful eyes.He didn't expect Silas to understand Emma's taste so well.
