Multiple lovers

Chapter 18: What to Do If Not Satisfied

This time, Wang Chengbin felt that it was the happiest time since they got married, and he performed more bravely than ever before. Afterwards, he hugged Zhang Qian and said, "That was really comfortable. It would be great if you could always be like this." "As long as you like it, I will definitely get better in the future," Zhang Qian said sweetly, then turned her back to him, lying at the head of the bed, motionless.

In the places where Wang Chengbin couldn't see, Zhang Qian's complexion was even worse than before. Her whole face was extremely pale. Because just now, she had been thinking of Xu Feng as a fantasy in her mind, and even at the most tense moment, she almost couldn't help but call out Xu Feng's name. If it weren't for her suddenly snapping back to reality and clenching her teeth to hold back, she would have been done for now. She thought that having a good time with Wang Chengbin would make her forget Xu Feng, but not only did she not forget, she became even more obsessed. Wang Chengbin had no idea what was going on in Zhang Qian's mind, thinking that all her changes were because of him. The dual satisfaction of body and mind made him snore loudly and sleep soundly soon after. After discovering that Wang Chengbin had fallen asleep, Zhang Qian immediately got out of his embrace. In the darkness, she looked at Wang Chengbin's face, unable to figure it out no matter how hard she tried. Clearly, this was her own husband, but in his arms, Zhang Qian felt very unfamiliar, and involuntarily, she began to compare the two of them. For example: Wang Chengbin wasn't tall, and his body wasn't strong enough to fully embrace her, unlike Xu Feng, who could completely hold her in his arms. He had also subtly mentioned how capable he was. Compared to her young and strong husband, Xu Ge was much older, yet he could still be seen as extremely powerful. She began to long for Xu Feng's embrace, and memories of him gently holding her while they cooked, as well as the intense stimulation he gave her several times, flashed through her mind. In the quiet of the night, Zhang Qian's memories became exceptionally clear, and everything about Xu Feng unfolded vividly before her eyes, like a movie, frame by frame. She couldn't help herself, and Zhang Qian quietly went to the bathroom. After closing the door, she immediately reached down eagerly. Ten minutes later, under the intense stimulation, Zhang Qian softly called out Xu Feng's name. In that instant, she understood. She could never forget Xu Feng. After everything subsided, Zhang Qian felt very ashamed of her recent actions. Clearly, her husband was just outside, yet here she was thinking of someone else and doing such things. Even though she hadn't really had a relationship with Xu Feng, she still felt like she had betrayed Wang Chengbin. Zhang Qian fiercely scolded herself in her heart for being shameless, hoping to make amends for her sins in this way. After the feelings of guilt lessened a bit, she dragged her exhausted body back to bed, leaned against Wang Chengbin, desperately recalling the beautiful times when they were dating, and then fell into a deep sleep. But when she woke up the next day, Wang Chengbin was already gone. Zhang Qian went out to look for him in confusion but didn't see his figure anywhere. She thought he had gone out to buy breakfast and was about to call him to ask when he would be back so she could prepare breakfast for Wang Chengbin. But Wang Chengbin didn't answer his phone, so she had no choice but to start washing up. According to her own wishes, she prepared some romantic surprises for Wang Chengbin and then waited for her husband to come back. In the end, Zhang Qian was almost late when she received a text message from Wang Chengbin, just three words: "I'm gone."

Zhang Qian's body suddenly turned ice-cold. She felt as if Wang Chengbin didn't treat her as his wife at all. He could leave whenever he wanted and come back whenever he felt like it. What was this place to him? A hotel?

Seeing that the things she had prepared were useless, Zhang Qian threw them away expressionlessly and then took a taxi straight to the company.

By the time she arrived at the company, almost everyone had already finished the morning meeting. Since Zhang Qian hadn't taken leave this time, she was definitely going to be penalized.

Zhang Qian hesitated at the door, not daring to go in.

It was only when another colleague saw her and asked, "Are you feeling better?"

Zhang Qian looked at the colleague in confusion. What had happened?

"Your workplace was in a mess, and the deputy manager happened to pass by and see it. He came to the office to look for you. Xu Feng said you called in sick this morning, but you were confused and called him instead. He forgot about it and went ahead to help with the proposal since you weren't feeling well, so there was no need for you to come to the company," the colleague explained.

Zhang Qian was pleasantly surprised. Facing the colleague's puzzled gaze, she coughed awkwardly twice to cover up her guilt and said, "I still felt uneasy. It's just me at home, so I came anyway."

"The company is about to evaluate for professional titles. With your dedication, you'll definitely be selected," the colleague said, very satisfied, and patted Zhang Qian's shoulder before following her into the office.

Others also showed concern for Zhang Qian when they saw her, but Xu Feng wasn't there. He was from abroad and had his own separate office, so naturally, he wasn't seen here.

As soon as she entered the door, Zhang Qian couldn't help but look for that towering figure.
